i hired jodanna to organize my garage. she did such a fantastic job! she is fast and efficient. she listens to what you want, and follows through. she came up with some great solutions for us. she's very easy and flexible to work with. you can involve yourself as much or as little as you want. it all depends on what you're willing to spend and how much time you want to put in. i know i will be hiring her again. i highly recommend messes 2 miracles!

We had gone thru 3-4 years of downsizing and combining 2 households. It had been a long, hard process. We had gotten the house to a place where it didn't look awful anymore but it was definitely not organized very well. We had hit a road block and didn't really know exactly what to do next and wasn't sure an organizer would really know what to do either. Jo came in for a consultation and 2 hours of work, and I was amazed at what we got done on her fist visit. She was really good at identifying what needed to be done first and categories that needed to be shifted around and things that just needed some tweaking. She's a very hard worker and can get a lot done in a short amount of time. The first time she was here, she worked with us for several hours. She gave us a lot of good suggestions and our homework, and we worked on our own for 2 weeks. We purchased a few additional hours and she came back and redid our pantry, some kitchen cabinets, the laundry closet, and several other small areas. We're getting close to having the entire house done...still finishing up on my sewing room. We're very satisfied with Jo's services. We were a little concerned with hiring an organizer because we weren't sure what we wanted to do. That's not a problem...she can figure it our! We will definitely use her services again. Onward to the garage organization! Her prices are very reasonable too.

I have never paid for this time of service before, so I cannot tell you if it was a reasonable rate or not, but what I can tell you is that it was worth every penny to me.  For almost two years I had been working overtime at my job.  I had lost control of my house keeping, mainly the clutter had gotten out of control.  I am an older adult and needed help getting back to ground zero.  It has been a pleasure meeting and working with Jo. 
She has been a breath of fresh air in my house and that is just what I needed.
What I have experienced so far:
She will contact you timely, you and her will look at your calendars and pick a day. She was prompt and kept to task, was a clean person, respectful and not pushy.
I was so excited to have someone helping me that we didn't discuss payment till after we were thru for the day; (The Angie's list coupon had expired) so I advise you both discuss this before hand.
She works with you as you sort and shift through what you need help with.  This may surprise some who just want it done, but there are as you might guess...personal items she has no way of knowing if your keeping, storing or dis-guarding with out your input.
I remember Joe telling me how this type of work can be tiring and she is right.  Making quick decisions for 2-4 hours can wear a person done.  So get plenty of rest the night before and be ready for feeling like a load has been lifted by the end of your session with her. 
I highly recommend Jo at JK Organizers and look forward to working with her again.  I bought a 10 hour package for about $400 dollars and it has been worth every penny.  BTW, you can break up your package into several different days(sessions) if wanted or needed.

She had some challenges too since we were combining two families.  We focused on the kitchen since that is most central to the house and the most challenging.  We started with a clean slate, everything out of the cupboards which  was easy since I was still unpacking!  First off she surveyed the kitchen to visualize what would work for us.  Then we started with the non food items....utensils, pots & pans, etc.  After that we grouped everthing together and organized in a way that made sense such as pots and pans near the stove.  We also weeded out the duplictes and the items we just don't use.   Keep or not keep was the saying of the day.  Next was the food....again grouped similiar foods together and threw away expired items.  I was most challenged bu this process, I could not see the big picture.  But not Jodana, she had it all figured out and now my kitchen is wonderfully organized.  She even put labels on the doors to help me and my family find things and more importantly put items where they belong.

Great!! I was beyond impressed. When she arrived I welcomed her in & we sat in the kitchen & discussed what she does, her philosophy, & how her 3 second rule, sorting, & organization would work. I felt confident in her approach & introduced her to my teenage son to talk. She broke threw his barrier & went straight to work! She worked with both boys in their shared room & quickly helped them determine 5 bags of "trash" & 1 big bag to donate (plus other items). She rearranged their room to maximize space & give each boy privacy. I can honestly say the value of her service was priceless & I'm thrilled with the finished room & renewed mindset she's given my boys!!

I have used them a lot. Probably may be less than once a month she comes out and has really been helping me to get the rest of my home organized, basement, etc. Her rate now is $45/hour, but when she starts you as a client she keeps the same rate for you and does not go up. She keeps loyalty that way. I keep using her for that reason. She has been helping me with my organization for at least since 2012 and I thought it is just going to be she came and would do one room and she would be gone, but what happened is that it is really not a change in your room it is a change in you. What she was working towards is changing the person so that the person works to be able to be more organized. The thing that is really awesome is when I started with her I was in a 10 x 20 extra storage unit outside my home, then it went to a 10 x 10 and then that went to 10 x 5 and by the end of this month I will be out of it. That would be the first time in about 20 years I have not had an outside storage unit. That is an incredible sense of freedom to not have your stuff sitting in boxes somewhere out because you do not have room for it somewhere. It is hard to describe what it is that she does so well but she takes the person, the client, and works with you so that you know how to organize. She does not just come in and say here you go I have reorganized your closet for you, and two days later your closet is a mess again. She works with you to change you so that you know how to do it. I had another organizer, I would not mention that person' name because I think in part of it it is my fault too but she charged a lot more, we are talking significant amounts of money like $1000 for a day or something and I was desperate. Whereas, JK Organizers, she has worked a miracle in how I approach dust, how I kept reducing so that everything is in the house where I can see it and use it, the things I love rather than storing them all the time.

She is outstanding! I am very well organized and she even gave me ideas on things I could improve and get more space on. She is very encouraging when you are trying to decide to keep something or get rid of it. She is not one to come in and clear the decks. She understands that there are things that have value to you and you need to find a place for them.

I first contacted Jodanna of JK Organizers for assistance in cleaning out a back room that looked more like a junk heap than the study and guest bedroom i intended it to be.  During the consultation, Jodanna listened - really listened - to how I work, the frustration  I had because I could find no place for things to go, and the functions I thought each room should accommodate.  Within two hours I was well on my way to a new life and armed with skills I could use until they came again.  JK and her team worked non-stop for two hours moving furniture and consolidating my "stuff" by function.   JK and her team are intelligent, insightful and compassionate - encouraging me but letting me remain in control.  I was so excited with the progress I scheduled a return visit and even more importantly I was able to start the process on my own.

Since that first meeting I have used JK Organizers several times.  My entire home is organized - even the kitchen drawers and pantry.  We are now tackling the basement.  

I was pleasantly surprised with how far I have come - all thanks to great leadership and support.
