I absolutely love them and they were so nice and professional.  They were so incredible. The gutters are incredible and beautiful.  I don’t have to climb the ladder and get in there and do all that gutter work and it is perfect.  They were so helpful.  They worked on our time.  When you do business with a good company it makes you nervous because you get such bad business and I was ,like, what’s up here are these gutters going to fall off? They were being too nice.  They put whole new gutter system and one was 1200 sq. feet and they put Leaf Guard on existing gutters we had on another 1200 sq. feet plus another probably 600 sq. feet so they had to do a bunch of gutters.  They gave us 75% off labor discount but it was actually advertised 50%.  They come out and gave a free estimate and a DVD to watch when they were going around my property measuring and everything.  Everything they wrote down is exactly what they did.  Plus, they gave me a military discount and that was another big surprise and that was a bonus that I wasn’t expecting.  I love their company.  If you do business with them and call them for another job they will give a 20% discount and another discount as a returning customer.  They are good business.  The price is comparative with plain gutter and for us it was perfect.  We had expected a $5000 job and we got it for $3660 and that was pleasant.  I will be more than happy to call them any day. They deserve a big "atta boy" and are a wonderful company.

They are all very professional and we love the leaf guard system.  They don't subcontract, the installers actually work the company.  They gave us a 50% labor discount.

I would like to preface my comments by saying the poor ratings are directed at management and not the installation crew, which was very professional.  We contracted with Leaf Guard of Tennessee on Jan 14, 2012 to replace the gutter system, minus down spouts, having to put down a substantial deposit.  We were told it would take several weeks to get scheduled, due t their backlog of work, which was understandable.  After about three weeks they did not call us, we called and found out we had been scheduled for Feb 24.  That morning, a Friday, we received a call saying they could not come out because of inclement weather (understandable), and would come out the next day, Saturday.  No one came to work on the gutters on Saturday morning and I called the company.  I was told we are on the shedule and the installers would be there--"don't worry about what time they will be there, we just want you there when they finish."  No one showed up and no one had the courtesy to call us and tell us why.  I called the company Saturday afternoon, but their offices are closed at Noon.  I called again on Monday morning and was told someone would be out that afternoon.  No one showed up and no one bothered to have the courtesy t tell us why.  I again called the company after 4:00 PM that Monday and no one knew what was going on.  In fact, I was told my job had started on Saturday.  I asked to have my called returned by the ownwer or a manager.  Finally, on Tuesday morning a crew came and replaced the gutters.  Still, no one from management bothered to return my call.  At the end of the day, before paying the final bill I had the crew call the general manager and told her what I iterated above.  While she did apologize, basically her response was that she was sorry they did not meet my expectations.  How arrogant.  Leaf Guard has a good product.  Leaf Guard of Tennessee has a monopoly on installation.  They need some competition.  I little bit of communication would go a long way with this company.

I've had problems with them in the past with service issues. The technology didn't seem to work. Because of the design and esthetics of it, I decided to go with them again. This time at least the initial installation seems to have gone a lot better and I've not had any problems yet. I haven’t had a gulley washer yet. They have really had an attitude problem over the years. I've got a new system with some modifications.

It wasn't the quality of the roofing job, it was all the runaround that led up to it. They really gave me the runaround. The guy that came out to assess the gutters was a pretty smooth talker and he told me they were full service contractors so why didn't I do the roof, gutters, shutters and screens all at once with them. I thought it sounded like a good idea. Their price was fine. I made a down payment which I wish I hadn't done. They were horrible. This was in April and I finally got him back in July to execute a contract officially. They wouldn't respond to my phone calls and they would give me dates and wouldn't come. This went on for weeks. We didn't get to go on vacation in August because they kept saying they would do the work the next week and then two weeks. We aren't through yet. We got the roof done and yesterday we got the shutters and screens put up. I am still waiting for the call about the gutters. They were not responsive. I finally got so frustrated that when I called in August I just left a message to void the contract. Then I got a call from the district manager telling me how they were going to sue me. I was threatening mainly because I was angry. I knew it was a binding contract. They totally overbooked themselves. It was horrible, horrible. I've used their gutter guards for years and I hadn't had any problems. They did a good job on the roofing. The second people that came out to do the shutters were a couple of handymen and it took them two days and they did a good job. Both the roofing and shutter people were subcontractors. I believe Leaf Guard will do a good job of getting the dents out of the gutters. They profess to be a full service contractor but their main job is gutters. Had they told me it would be a couple of months before they could get to the work I would have been fine but they just strung me along. After they got the roof done they wanted the money for the roof portion but we told them we would pay them when they got the rest of the work done. They said they guessed they would have to rearrange their schedule to get the rest of the work done. We would not penalize the people that actually did the work. The people in the office need to be fired. They are still not through.

Workers arrived about 9 AM and finished the job by 3 PM leaving no evidence of work behind except beautiful new gutters and downspouts. They commented on the lack of good depth of shingles and said about $100 would be required to add fascia if they did not drain properly. So far we have not decided to add the fascia, but we have not observed a heavy rain yet. The workers were very tidy and efficient.
