Carroll Heating & Air
About us
Carroll Heating & Air is a small heating and air company operating out of Powell, Tennessee. Tim Carroll started the company in 1982 and has run the business since. We pride ourselves on our work and strive to help our customers to the best of our ability. We operate two installer teams and two service technicians Monday through Friday. We have one technician on call from 5 o'clock until 10 o'clock at night for emergency calls. We are usually able to install a new system in a two week window. Service calls can usually be completed the day you call. (This excludes particularly hot or cold days when systems seem to strike.) By principal we complete no heat or no air calls before providing routine or "check up" services. We hope our customer appreciate and understand this choice. Having two technicians limits our ability to schedule appointments. Our technicians might spend 3 hours at a call to change a motor or they may spend 5 minutes to replace batteries. For this reason, we cannot provide an exact time period. We hope our customers understand the limitations of a small business, but still chose to work with us. If you are building a new home or thinking about replacing an old system, Carroll Heating & Air provides free estimates. We work with our customer's to find the right time and date to fit your schedule. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide financing, but we are more than happy to discuss other options.

installed in our new home 2 years ago. Even though the work was done
under warranty we were still charged over $500 for labor. The system
still does not work and we are now stuck paying for the only part that
they did not replace, the compressor. Please learn from my mistakes and
avoid this company at all costs.
Update 4/7/2014:
I am now replacing the unit and it turns out that the entire installation was completely inadequate. They only installed a single 14x14 air return on a 3.5 ton unit. Now I will be paying for both a new unit and installation of an adequate return system. Bad equipment, bad installation and bad service.
