Follow on contractors pointed out several missing steps, such as missing flashing for the siding, missing nailers in the celling for drywall and loose screws in the roof.
In addition an architectural overhang was not built on the south side of the house, even though it was clearly shown in t he plans.
After a few months one of the floor joists in the second floor started to bow and twist because it was not constrained properly.
Also, the roof has started to leak pretty severely because a piece of flashing was installed incorrectly in a roof valley.
I have called and texted the owners and salesman repeatedly about these problems. Two people have been out to look at the problems, but no one will come out to fix them even though they say someone will come out.
Currently the salesman will not answer my calls, or return my texts.
