We bought the carpet from Lowe's and then Lowe's hired Baggett to do the installation. With regard to responsiveness, I think that they were pretty good. With regard to punctuality, I don’t think that there was an issue with that.

I bought the carpet through Lowes and their price included the installation. He came out before I even bought the carpet and told me I could use a 12 foot wide carpet because I specifically stated I did not want it pieced together except at the doorway of the two rooms which were being carpeted. He assured me the only seams would be in the doorway. He did not put it in but when the guys left that did put it in and finished there was a terrible seam in it. When he came out after the job was done and I confronted him about it he said it would not fit the way he promised and that some of the edges of the carpet had been frayed after I bought it but it was very expensive carpet and I know it did not fray. He would not fix the seam so I was not happy; I had somebody else fix it later after I found out he had specifically told his workers not to fix it for me. Lowes finally gave me some money back on the carpet.

We bought the carpet through Lowes and they hired Baggett to install it. We had ceramic tile down and we wanted a tack strip because we didn't want any damage to the tile so instead of drilling holes they glued it down with liquid nails. They had to wait for 3 days because it was so cold to make sure that the glue cured. It did and then they installed the carpet. Everything went really well. The guy that came out to measure and the installers were two different people and there was a discrepancy because we were supposed to have an entry at the door coming from the outside and they didn't have that for the tack strip. They came back and fixed it that night. Two guys did the actual installation. They were about 4 hours late.
