Crye-Leike Realtors - Stephanie Arnold

We found the real estate company through a referral from a friend. The owner/agent chose to hand us off to Stephanie to be our buyer agent through the process. The good: Stephanie has a pleasant, congenial, and easy going personality. She was always on time and was able to meet when we wanted to look at homes. The not-so-good: About 65% of the listings that we looked at came from Stephanie the others we found on our own. We never felt that we had a true advocate that was really working for us rather it felt like 'here are the MLS listings that meet your criteria, what do you want to see'. There was not a lot of advice given or things like 'let's expand your search area', etc. Which is what we did and that's how we found the house we bought. It felt like it was about closing the sale and moving on. One item that really sticks out is that after we closed I sent an email saying thanks and that we should have her over after we got settled in: she never responded. With the exception of processing paper work I wonder why in the world Real Estate agents are needed.
