We had Comcast for television and internet. Then the rate was hiked and the plans had been changed. I also called AT&T, Charter, Dish, and  DirectTV. We stuck with Comcast.  What was so aggravating was no Comcast Rep could provide the breakdown of individual costs within the Double Play plan.
But in the end Comcast has the fastest internet and it is affordably priced. The other service providers have slower speeds and even higher prices. Another thing that burns my toast is that it cost me $60 for this plan. $10 for shipping a self install kit and $50 for them to flip the switch for the so-called upgrade.
Read your bill each month! I have been overcharged for services on each of the last 3 bills. Even for all these hassles this monopoly provides our service. We are stuck.

After 15 years with Comcast we finally made the change to EPB.  Comcast has been nothing but a headache every time we wanted to make even a small change to our service.  Their customer service is in the toilet and most of the techs they send to your house are uneducated on how to make things work.  If you need to talk to someone be sure and allow at least 1 hour of your time because it will take you that long before you get to talk to anyone.  And that is if they don't hang up on you and you have to start the process all over again.  Six months ago we wanted to upgrade our service to include HD and add a box to the TV in the man cave.  Well that was a mess as we went back in forth to the main office here 3 times before it was finally working.  They gave us old and worn out equipment that did not work.  Finally on the 3rd time I was given one of their new boxes (that matched the one we had on the main TV) and it worked.  We then realized that it was time to make a change.  When installing our new service we found that Comcast had cut main wire to our security system and rewired it inappropriately thus we have our security company come out and fix that issue now.  The internet service was good, the phone needs work as there was a weird clicking noise at times that they could not figure out thus could never fix and the TV was just ok.  Our biggest complaint is the customer service.  If you want to purchase their service you will not have any trouble but everything is down hill from that phone call on.

Service in the state of MI went well until I stopped service to move to another state.  I completed all the paperwork and returned all items in person to a man who came to the house to pick things up.  Five months later, I received a notice in the mail from a collection agency stating they wanted to collect money from me since I had not returned my equipment.  I contacted Comcast's vice president who was trying to deal with these kinds of issues.  I was able to show them that the modem they claimed I had not returned by purchased by me from Amazon.  I still had the receipt.
I did not wish to use them again, but our apartment complex in TN forced you to use their cable service, so we went with them again.  Besides, they had worked things out before, right?  Well, after using their automatic payment service for about 6 months, a payment did not get made.  My credit card expiration date had changed, and even though I made the change on the Comcast site, no payment was made.  (All other utility companies had no problem making the change.)  I suppose I am partially at fault for not checking to see that the payment was made, but I expected things to work as they were supposed to.  Anyway, I received a call from Comcast telling me that I was behind in my payments, and my service was about to be ended.  I immediately went into the site and made the payment that had been missed and made the next payment that was to come.  The next bill I received showed I was charged a late fee of around $10 because their system didn't work.
I am now free of that company, but they still owe me $30.19.  I finally called after two months to see where my check is.  Maybe I should charge them a late fee of $10.  They are supposedly sending a check, although it has been 10 days since I contacted them.  They have 4 more days to get here in the timeframe they told me.
So glad to be free of this horrible company.

The Internet is fast. I've been pleased overall with the speed of the Internet. I have more channels than I need or could possibly watch. I think they're still overpriced. The service has improved over the last couple of years.

My experience has always been excellent.  They are cheaper.  I have a basic plan.  Their price is going up and I don't like that.

They usually don’t charge because I have cable service with them and mostly it has something to do with their equipment but we don’t have to wait long to get it fixed. They are usually prompt.

We are not very happy with the price. They offer fair service but it seems pricey.

I have been using their service for about ten months now.  It was wonderful when they came out and installed everything.  However, it turned sour from there.  It has kind of been a battle with me as far as even keeping them.  I had some trees fall in my backyard during April that ripped out the cable lines.  They came out the next day.  They were late for the appointment, but they did come out and run the cable line back on top of a tree that had fallen.  When they came to cut the tree they didn't see the line and ran over it.  It took me two days to get them back out.  They re-ran the cable and laid it in the backyard.  This was several months ago.  They have promised me over and over that they would bury the cable, but it's still in the backyard.  Once my contract is up with them I'm done.  Their price recently went up.  It's outrageous.

Our service required service calls once or twice a year and eventually they began adding service fees for continued service calls and we were livid. When we requested to speak to supervisors they refused and/or made that connection difficult to impossible. We were finally so fed up with the service that we severed our ties and are so glad we did. Customer service for them was oxy moron. NOTE: my professional grade is reflective of administration rather that service reps. The service reps were mostly professional and supportive.

The installation was free, and I haven't got my first bill yet. It is supposed to be cheaper than AT&T and thats why I signed up. The only problem was the installation guy wanted to drill a hole in the hardwood floor and the side of the house. He said he had to do it this way, we had him call his supervisor. Supervisor explained to him that he could do it another way, it was completed. It took 2.5 hours and seemed like it should have taken less than an hour. Other than that, sales and service representatives were great.
