I only spoke with him on the phone but being a service pro myself I could tell he knew what he was talking about. I live in a 1901 home and was even able to fix it myself just based on the information he gave me. If I ever need a pro for any similar job, I would be happy to call him again

I am very pleased with their work. Two guys came out one by the Name of David. I only remember this because that is my name. Very friendly people. Didn't talk over my head. Explained everything they were doing as well as taught me some things to look out for as the furnace gets older. Never tried to push a new furnace on me. Two other contractors I talked with hinted around about replacing the furnace due to age with out even seeing what I had. Adkins people were very professional. I was very pleased with their work and their final price. I will definitely use them again. I was so pleased I forgot to ask them about their 5% discount for Angie's list users. One thing I do was to point out was at no time did they try to sell me something I did not need. When all was said and done they wished me luck and stated that if I am ever in need of their service again to please keep them in mind. I then told them that if and when the old furnace gave up the ghost I would definitely call them to get an estimate for a new furnace.  It was so refreshing not to have someone in my house telling me how badly I need a new furnace and pushing that I replace the old one. These are good honest people. If Adkins Heating and Air reads this I would ask one thing of them. When I called the guy and told him I was interested and he came out within a couple of hours. We talked about it and he gave me a couple of options and they were honest people to deal with. The job was perfect and he did a nice job.

The owners were very prompt to respond and answered all my questions. They are very knowledgeable about their products, which I found to be a rarity with this style unit. They took the time to point out some specs that I hadn't realized. I ended up buying different units than I had initially planned after talking with them.
After we agreed to the terms, installation took place just a few days later, at my convenience. They fully installed 2 units in about a half day. The crew was very good and easy to work with.
The units work very well and I am very pleased.
