Tub Tile & Tops

For anyone thinking about resurfacing a tub, the only person I would call is Kenny at Tub Tile and Tops. I talked to six different companies before contracting Tub Tile and Tops for my tub because my needs were a little special. I have a stamped steel tub, which is not very thick metal, and it had pre-existing rust near the drain area when I bought my house. Since most of the bathroom is nice ceramic tile and it is right up to the edge of the tub, replacing the tub would be a big job and very expensive. I figured it would make sense to make a smaller investment to try to save the tub. Kenny was up front that rust is extremely difficult to stop, just like with a car, and he cannot give a warranty for rust issues, which was a more nuanced response than any other resurfacer would give me. Given my experience with Ohio cars (rusting from road salt), I knew Kenny was being more honest than the other contractors. Kenny's employee did a terrific job with the tub, and it looks beautiful. There is a non-slip grit in the surface so we don't fall in the tub. Recently, a little rust broke through the tub again near the drain (about 9 months to a year later), so Kenny came out himself at no charge and touched it up, even though I was aware this was a risk and I figured this was on me. He's truly a stand-up guy, and very trustworthy, plus I observed that he has a lot of experience in how to handle tub issues. For the price, this resurfacing is worth it to me just to try to get a few more years out of this tub, since so many other parts of my house need major work and I can't do everything at once. I'm glad I called Kenny for this job because it allows me to get more use out of what I have. He responds quickly when you call or email, and he cares about quality rather than turning and burning like so many other companies. I like that he gave me the right advice on what to expect along the way.

Ken did a great job. He promptly came out to evaluate the Repair and his wife sent me an email estimate the same day. He came out later that week when the weather was appropriate for this type of outdoor Repair, Ken was on time and took care of the repair and additional crack that I had him resurface. I would definitely recommend Ken and use him again

I have had them come out on 6 different occasions to do my tub, and my rental property tubs. They do great work, and I have never had to call them back out to do the same work twice. I would highly recommend them. They are the only place I go to have my tubs redone.

They did a great job. my tub looked awful. It only took a few hours. Michael was super informative and let me know exactly what needed to be done. A friend suggested this company. The person I scheduled with was informative as well. My tub looks great and I saved about $200 from what other companies wanted to charge.

This company was referred to me by my realtor. I had purchased a condo built in the 70's. the bath rooms were pink and baby blue with yellow trim.  I Found their web site and it was very easy to understand and had some great before and after pictures. I responded to their link and got a call within the hour.After young man was able to quote me the tub over the phone. 1 week later he showed up on time and refinished my tub. After seeing the incredible  job I had him to the other tub and even change the color of the wall tile all around both bath rooms.  It only took  2 days but he removed the fixtures and came back on the third day to put the new ones the I had bought. He has since did two other rentals for me and one of my contractors has used him. Great job!! By the way the best bid I got on the tile work to do both bathrooms was 9500.00 and even then i would have had a pink and blue tub that would have had to be resurfaced.
