Sundek of Nashville

I am unable to recommend Sundek of Nashville. We had our patio done about 3 ½ years ago and have had some real fading issues with the colors under the covered patio. Also, when they were applying the surface, it turned a milky white when they put they sealer on. They had to strip the sealer off and while stripping they sprayed acid on our new grill and ruined part of the cabinet surface. They did cover the cost of replacement, but it was a battle to get it. Fast forward to today and we have cracks in the surface. Contacted them about getting the cracks filled and painted with us paying for it. We were told we were not a good fit. Apparently, they are upset because they ruined some items during the install 3 years ago and we are bad customers because we wanted it fixed. We paid them over $15K for the patio and I don’t think it was wrong to have it done correctly. As you can see from the email below they state that there are many other resurfacing companies in the area to choose from. I recommend that you do that. Sundek does not believe we would be a good fit for you, but there are many other resurfacing companies in the area to choose from. Very, very well. We did the basic Sundek surface. The end result is a huge improvement and looks great. The workmen were super. They carefully masked and made sure to get treatment everywhere it was supposed to go and not where it wasn't. There are a limited number of colors to select from if you're only doing the basic process, but it looks great when done. They carefully made sure the door still sweeps properly and all areas are even. Happy to recommend.

The initial result was beautiful. We had this work done to replace/repair cracks in existing deck. In less than a year, Sundek product started cracking also. Calls to the company president were met with indifference and promises to come look at it.  To date, at least 3 months since our first follow up call to Andy Guy, the president, we are still waiting for Sundek to make good on their product. Numerous cracks have appeared, and at the rate new cracks happen, we will have to replace this deck soon.
