Countertops are not smooth and looks like wet spots on them

Sent an email to bruce the owner and dealt with mark childress the soninlaw of the owner; mark couldn't have been nicer and he had the color and type of quartz we were looking for in his existing inventory; he gave us a price while in the shop and he came out to check the exact measurements; we then scheduled a date and his workers were very prompt; did a beautiful job and would highly recommend his company.

Excellent. All work was done without any problems. From quote to installing paid attention to details and on time delivery. Would recommend them to anyone. A big investment, but it was worth it.

Worked well with us through the many appointments and reschedules we had. Did a quality job on the installation. They minimized the number of seams and the seams that do exist are barely visible. Provided good advice to prevent us from making uninformed decisions.

They we responsive, professional and overall it was a great experience. Their Sales guy Mark was very informative and no pressure. Since we were keeping our existing metal cabinets and that posed a couple of issues. There laser leveling machine didn't like the reflection the cabinets created also the sink that we used was a bit tight and we have to make some modifications to the cabinet and doors under the sink. Both issues were handled and we were very happy with the results. We also swapped out our electric cook top for a gas one and they handled that well and even recommended a plumber to handle the sink and gas line install.

Prompt and dependable service. Same installer replaced kitchen counters w/ granite a couple of yrs earlier. The owner Bruce is pleasant, professional and promptly returns emails and calls. We were impressed and recommend to our neighbor who had her kitchen done also.

The granite guy disconnected the existing plumbing, popped the sink in and sealed it, ready for plumbers to finish installing the new faucets and garbage disposal. Quick work and nice job. Knowledgeable about the sink material (granite composite). Very polite and professional.

Could not have been happier with the results. I selected American Granite due to the raves expressed on Angie's List. Working with Bruce and his entire team was wonderful. They did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. They were extremely responsive and kept exactly to schedule. The best experience a I've ever had with a service provider.

From start to finish, this was a professional operation.  We went to their office and picked our granite from their supply.  Then Bruce came to the house to measure.  Then we went back to the office to see how the layout matched up.  Their layout man, Randy, is an artistic genius.  He and my husband discussed how things would go.  There were no surprises.  Finally, they arrived for delivery.  It took one day and the 2 young men were very professional.  The final result is beautiful.  The seams and backsplash match so well, it looks like one piece.  When you wait for years to have new counters, it is wonderful to have a great experience.

American Granite and Marble did  fantastic with every aspect of the job.  Bruce Doane was so great to work with.  He patiently escorted me around his business and helped me select the granite slabs.  All of his information was so helpful and he made the seemingly difficult process very easy.  He followed through with everything he promised. 

Bruce made careful measurements on a home visit.  Those perfect measurements enabled them to cut perfect countertops that installed without a hitch.  They are beautiful and so professionally done.  I was having several projects done at my home around that time, and I must say this project went the smoothest of them all... and with knockout results!   I feel that I got everything I paid for and more!  I will definitely use them again!!!

Bruce is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. His team was right on time the morning of the installation, and did an excellent job on the installation. Cleanup was adequate, not great. I highly recommend them, and will use them again when the opportunity arises.

Fantastic!  Our new countertops make our old 90s outdated kitchen look like a million dollar kitchen.  We were able to go to Oakland and pick out our granite slab ourselves.  Mark made us feel as if we were his most important customers.  The installation crew showed up exactly when they were supposed to and called us to let us know they were on the way.  I would highly recommend American Granite!

We chose American Granite and Marble solely on the basis of the twenty-four stellar reviews and the six ?Page of Happiness? nominations this local small business has received on Angie?s List over the past three years, and we were not disappointed.
     Precisely at the time of our initial scheduled appointment General Manager Bruce Doane arrived at our home to show us several samples of the available granite his company had on hand, explained the entire remodeling process, and then offered some excellent suggestions on what features and remodeling ideas we might like to consider.    What?s more, when Mr. Doane returned later to take measurements of our kitchen and bar countertop areas, he took nearly two hours to make painstakingly accurate and detailed calculations of the surface areas which were to be removed and replaced with new marble.    Friends and neighbors we know who have undergone similar renovations have all expressed their collective astonishment that Mr. Doane went to such lengths, citing that their own contractors took as little as ten minutes to take their measurements.    Believe us, it was well worth his effort.
    Moreover, several previous Angie?s List reviewers indicated that the price of their own granite remodeling projects with this company seemed a bit high, perhaps even more than they expected to pay, but I would counter that in our own experience with American Granite and Marble, it was money well spent.   As we have maintained before in other reviews, the old adage "You get what you pay for" is certainly true here, or as Warren Buffet once observed:  "Price is what you pay.  Value is what you get.?
    We are extraordinarily pleased with the results of this remodeling project.   Because of the precise measurements Mr. Doane made of our kitchen and bar area countertop areas and the expert work of his staff at his Oakland, TN fabrication facility, the marble countertops which were installed in our home look as if they had been sculpted by Michelangelo himself ? the fit, style and molding of each piece is that extraordinary.
    What?s more, the installers arrived promptly at the promised early morning time and worked tirelessly and without stop until the job was completed, a five-hour task.  Both men were very polite and congenial, made little noise or mess throughout their endeavors (cleaning up as they went) and often patiently explained each step of the process if we happened to stop by and ask.   It was a genuine pleasure to have them in own home to complete this project.
    It took no more than two weeks from the time measurements were made until our marble countertops were installed, a very reasonable time to be sure, and well worth the wait.    It is obvious that everyone at American Granite and Marble takes pride in their personal craftmanship and work, and that genuine customer service is the hallmark of this small business.    You will not be disappointed should you choose them for your own kitchen project.
