This was not a standard line and they no longer manufacture it. They went out of their way to find an after market repair kit.

Very well I am living in Florida and my teenage son was in Tennessee and needed the work done. They took care of everything and had him back on the road in no time. Very satisfied with the level of service.

Had to bring the car in twice, still not fixed. They were good about it but not satisfied having spend so much money and having them not know what went wrong.

Came in for a replacement starter and an oil change.  car came out worse than it went in.  They did unannounced / unacknowledged work on a crankcase emissions valve which basically killed the car.

They confirmed the noises I was hearing which I assumed were the struts/shocks. I asked them to check my brakes while it was in the shop.
They called to let me know the noise in the rear was the struts and the noise in the front was the sway bar. Stated my brakes were good but the back brakes needed cleaned and adjusted.
Asked if I could leave the car overnight if they could not get the parts early enough to complete the work the same day.
They called later that day to let me know my car was ready.
Price quoted was price paid.

They were great. Very terrific. They are just super and very thorough. They were perfect and I have to use them again. They were on time and too super nice. They were many dollars cheaper than what I expected. I liked them a lot.

They always give us excellent service. We have three vans and switches are not easy to find for old vans. The doors are fine now. They are always very nice. They are always very professional. They are reasonably priced and fair. They have gone to extreme measures before for us to get something repaired. We have a handicapped daughter and I think they kind of keep that in mind sometimes.

Nothing exciting about the master cyclinder, they replaced it and it works. :-)
They gave me a quote for an oil leak for $600+ that was quoted for $1000 in Arkansas. Then later they reviewed the quote and reduced it another $300 or so. Wow, where do you find businesses that actually reduce their prices?? The Arkansas mechanic wanted to replace every part that even came close to the leak LOL. RT Clapp didn't tack on unnecessary work and even removed something later when they realized it could be dispensed with.
I'm very impressed. I am confident that they are not just trying to get as much money out of people as possible but instead, just want to fix your car with the least amount of work necessary. Very nice.

We've used RT CLapp for all our auto service needs for over 10 years. They are friendly, curteous, professional, and punctual. They will go out of their way to help you with your auto needs. If you need a ride home or to your work while they wil laccomodate.

They're pretty big in this area. What I like about them is that I have them trained. They don't jerk me around. Actually, that's something I'm very careful to set up because I'm a woman alone. I like being ripped off. While I think that they're reputation is such that they couldn't afford to do that, I also believe they don't do it. Some people have said they're expensive but I think their prices are competitively fair. I get the work done on time and I get the work done right the first time. What's not to like? The place is clean. They know me. I went in there one time and the guy said, "So what's wrong with it?" and I said, "I have no idea." He just lit up because I never say I have no idea unless I really have no idea. I'll always say, "Well, this is what it's doing. You think it might be the wheel bearing?" I'll make up something if I have to. I really had no idea this time. It was very exciting. I don't work with someone for ten years if they're not at least a B+. I don't mind paying for value. They're not cheap but you get what you pay for. I've never had to wait longer than they said, except for one time when I said, "I don't need it back until next week. " If I can give them a time, I do. Maybe that's my problem, I don't make demands unless I have to. On the other hand, when I do need it back right away, they get it done.

They provided personal customer service. I did a lot of comparisons and they were the most reasonable and professional. I felt that the clutch needed to be replaced but once they started the work they called and told us that we could probably get way with not replacing e clutch for about a year and all they needed to do to fix the current problem could be done for a couple of hundred of dollars. We replaced the clutch anyway but was amazed at their integrity.

Very well. Fixed what was needed in a reasonable time.

They are very skilled, while not being outrageous in their price. It's not super cheap, but they're fair in their price. I used them four or five times and my repairs have always been finished in a timely manner and correctly done.

Excellent service - fair price - very informative - fast and efficient - they even drove me to work and picked me up. Will definitely go again.

They are good. They are recommended by AAA. Everybody use them and I rate them high overall. They are efficient, quick, and their prices are comparable. They are not as expensive as taking a car to the dealership.

I have used them for thirty years. They gave me a diagnosis and gave me an accurate estimate. I was very satisfied. They are responsive and do good quality work.

It was a referral from a friend who had been using them for a while. They are outstanding, reliable, and honest. They do good work, and they don't try to cheat me. It is a good thing especially in auto repair. I have referred several people there. I will continue to go to them in the future.

R T Clapp of Oak Ridge does excellent service and is the only mechanic I use. I've been using them for about 18 years.

They are not fantastic, but are average. The waiting room is kind of dreary. I may use their services again.
