My call was to have an electrician come out and repair a breaker that was continually flipping off and stopping the garage door and security light out front from working. A man came out to repair the problem, late. He walked over to the breaker box, opened it, removed the cover and cut the wire that went to both and now the light out front does not work along with the garage door. He was here a total of SEVEN MINUTES!! The switch was not repaired or replaced. I was never presented with a work order or bill. The next day, I tried to open the garage door and it still did not work. I called about it and all they wanted to know was and quot;WHERE'S MY CHECK?and quot; They did not try to discuss the problem. The and quot;companyand quot; VERY UNPROFESSIONAL kept harrassing me by callling and yelling at me every day because I did not pay the worker that was sent out. I wanted a bill to show what was done, NEVER GOT ONE. I wanted the light and garage door repaired THEY DIDN'T DO IT. I sent them their money to get them to stop harrassing me. So basically I PAID FOR NOTHING.
This is NOT the way to do business."[member name removed] was advised that we do not bill for work - payment is due at time of service. [member name removed] was also advised that since she did not pay at time of service a receipt would be mailed to her when we received payment - we have NOT been paid. [member name removed] also told us that the breaker was working after the first time it tripped. The existing condition was unsafe by a double tap on that breaker - my tech corrected that problem."
They came on Sept. 23, verified that the fan motor was burnt out and explained our options. We decided to obtain a higher quallity fan than had been initially in place. We then purchased a fan at Lowes and called Ridge Electric when that was done. Another crew returned for the installation. Arrival time was later than we were told, but not significantly so. Ridge handled the price adjustments with the home warranty company and we had no problems there.
