The inspections were very thorough and the written documentation was excellent. Peter was patient with my detailed questions and he was willing to explain terms I did not understand. Since this is the first time I have purchased a home, I was relieved to have the assistance of a professional with integrity.

Peter arrived on time. Thoroughly inspected the exterior and interior of the home. Identified several issues that the seller agreed to repair at his expense.
A well done inspection. I've had them done before but this was the most thorough I've seen.

Admittedly I've only been in the house for a month but I've yet to find anything wrong that the inspector did not report. He showed up promptly, appeared professional, clean, and neat, brought coveralls and boots to wear while inspecting crawlspaces, had tools to test the power and appliances, and exhibited in-depth knowledge of home construction and maintenance as well as current building codes. Upon seeing his report, the seller agreed to pay to fix all the major issues (as well as several of the minor ones) prior to my purchase of the home. I mean, the report was clear, specific, and documented (including photos) enough that the seller knew what repairs would be required before the mortgage would be approved. Oh, and I had a physical, bound copy of the report before the inspector left. He took about 3 or four hours and it still seems to have been a thorough, professional job. Yes, it may have been disappointing to have someone point out all these problems in a house I was wanting to buy but I kept telling myself that A) this was what I was paying him to do and B) I'd much rather find out BEFORE I signed all the papers to buy it. Great experience overall.

Over all we were extremely satisfied with Pillar to Post and will use them again in the future if we ever purchase another home. I recommend that anyone purchasing a home get a radon test done. I wouldn't recommend the mold inspection unless you suspect mold. The door in the basement had mold on it and that is why we went ahead with the test.

I have bought houses before but this particular house we were wanting to make an offer on was at the top end of our budget and we wanted as much information as possible about it. These guys were there exactly when they said they would be and took a little while to explain to me what they were going to be looking for in each room and fixture and why they were going to be looking for it. By that afternoon they had prepared us a full statement of the home inspection. Also to be honest I had heard of Radon gas but really didn't know what it did or effects it would have. So they were very careful to explain it to me before they tested for it. Thank goodness the house was negative for any ill effects of the gas, and I'm definately glad to know we won't have any of those problems. So I strongly urge anyone that is a home owner or looking to become one to definately use these guys they are great. Thanks to them we will be closing on this property in a couple of weeks and we are very sure about it and ourselves.

Peter Waraksa with Piller to Post came to do a home inspection on a house we were interested in purchasing. Peter had already gotten his equipment setup and was starting on the inspection when we got there. He was very through with his inspection. He checked outlets, faucets, heatpump, water heater, bathroom fans, all the applicances, etc. If he came across an item that needed our attention he showed us then as well as went over it in his compiled report. He had all his tools handy as well as a different set of shoes to put on while inspecting the crawl space. After his inspection was done, he printed it all off while on site and gave it to us in a binder with other helpful information. He also emailed a digital copy of the report to our agent and us.

Peter from Pillar to Post inspectors performed a home inspection on the house I currently have under contract. Although the house looks very attractive from the inside and the ground, Peter pointed out several areas where the roof and trim needed some immediate attention. He also provided good guidance as to how concerned to be over the foundation repairs that were already performed. Finally, he provided an extremely thorough report that included pictures and provided specific guidance on the documentation I needed to ask the sellers for before continuing with a close.

The inspector spent one full day inspecting my house and he was totally thorough. He was very professional and he certainly earned his money. He gave me an entire book of everything that was inspected. I have recommended him to other people.
