I would give them 0 stars if it was an option! Not only did they NOT do the job right the first time or listen to instructions of what we wanted done, they did it very poorly. We hired them to redo wiring and relocate switches in our old house for remodel. They left 3 LARGE holes from ceiling down to the counters in our kitchen, 2 more large holes in the master bathroom/bedroom, tore out and slung around our insulation and belongings in the attic, left all their personal/work trash in around, moved flooring in the attic and left the pieces making it extremely difficult to eat up and walk around. I suppose them having to come back and do their job right the second time was too much because when the two men were greeted at the door they obviously did not want to be there and made the environment very uncomfortable. I would rate extremely poorly on their work and professionalism. Do Not Recommend

They were great; they were clean with their work and were able to run the lines.

The work performed was fine. The work they performed has been holding up well The prices seemed a little bit high. They were punctual and I would recommend their services to others.

Lewis Electric personnel were punctual and professional and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. They offered advice on our original approach and their suggested approach was superior. Work was done quickly and final result was superior. They cleaned up after the job. Very pleased with work.

Jimmie worked hard and diligently to perform all services. There was need for three separate visits for work completion. No problem with that. Stayed beyond normal business hours to finish tasks as needed. Helpful with explanations as requested. We were pleased with the work and the service.

At 8 a.m. yesterday a crew of 4 (or maybe 5) men were here. They had the city turn off the power to my house and set to work. I was in the living room reading most of the time so I can say without reservation that worked consistently the entire time (no taking long breaks) and even the chit-chat they had was mostly about the job. At 12:30 they said they might be done ealier than expected. At 3 p.m. they were done. Two of them stayed until the city came and turned the power on.
They were courteous and extremely professional. This fall or winter I will probably have the rest of house rewired and they are the only people I will call. Tremendous job!

They weren't efficient.

I had appliances delivered and the installer said he wouldn t install the microwave with the current electric set up. In a panic, I called Lewis Electric. They had a team out that same day to look things over. I had a list of additional jobs for them and I explained each one to them. The two guys were here for an hour telling me that they couldn t do any of what I wanted done on that visit and would have to come back. I was shocked that they handed me a bill for a trip charge PLUS an hour s labor when they did none of the work. I paid them without quarrel since they did come right out when I called but I don t think it was appropriate for them to charge more than the service charge. They came back and did all the work except for the meter on the side of the house. They came back another time in coordination with the power company to take care of the meter and wiring on the side of the house.

Our hot water heater stopped working on Saturday evening. Working with GE, I was able to determine that the issue was with the wiring around the water heater. Mark arrived within an hour of being called on Sunday afternoon and got right to work. He diagnosed the issue, replaced a blown fuse in a pull-out switch, and took the time to advise me on what he was doing. He did a great job cleaning up afterwards and educated me on what to do if this sort of thing happens in the future. He advised me on the price before he arrived since it was an after-hours call, although I didn't take the time to compare pricing as this was of an urgent nature. He was very friendly and professional.

The bill came and they had over charged me around $80. Their excuse was that there was new people in the office that did not know what they were doing. They did good work, and they did what they were supposed to. They came on time and they did their work. I just had to call them about the overcharge and they took care of it.

This guy was very good and knew his stuff. Their prices were very reasonable and it only took about an hour for him to wire everything up for me. The guy didn't leave any mess for me to clean up and he worked very efficiently so the job wouldn't cost me a fortune.

We always used Lewis Electric because they were reasonable on their price and I just cant remember what they charged last time for the wiring of the pole. Even though I didn t have a problem paying them for their service because it is always good quality work that we don t have any problems with. We were very satisfied and we wouldn t think about hiring anyone else to come out.
