Auto Detailing Service
Left our Honda Accord for the super deluxe all inclusive detailing treatment at ~10am one Saturday morning. The Manager (Justin) told us they could have the car ready that same afternoon if we wanted. We made it clear that the car could remain with them and we could pick it up Monday before they closed. That way they would not feel rushed and could do a "detailed" job.
Received a call from the owner, Charles, at ~2:30p telling us the car would be ready that afternoon and his credit card service was not working and could we please bring cash when we picked up the car? He preferred cash even when I offered a personal check. The total was to be $219.45.
Called by Justin ~ 3:15p saying car was finished and ready to be picked up.
Upon arriving, we noticed the car looked very clean and had obviously been waxed. However the inside of the trunk was wet (from power washing) and still full of tree leaves that had not been vacuumed. The upholstery and carpet was still damp from shampoo treatment. Justin completed the trunk cleaning and attempted to wipe out as much moisture as he could before we paid and left.
Upon returning home and checking the vehicle further the next day, several discrepancies were noted: All door windows were dirty at the top where they enter the door frame. They were not rolled down when cleaned. The sun roof had not been retracted and therefore the frame around it was very dirty and the seals and glass trim had zero Armor All treatment. The pouches on the back of the driver and passenger seats still had detritus (coins, gum wrappers, etc.) that had not been vacuumed. The back window had unclean fogged spots and the panel above the back seat was unvacuumed. The spare tire well was full of leaves and paper wrappers.
All in all we were disappointed in the total Super Deluxe package.
