Computer Helpers

If I could give Computer-Helpers a higher rating than 5 stars I would. You will not find better service, anyone more friendly or more helpful than Dan. I am not a computer novice. I have worked with computers and worked on repairing computers since personal computers were first introduced. My problem was I was from out of town and I accidentally dropped my work laptop causing it to malfunction. I needed someone locally who could provide the knowledge and expertise to help me get back up and running or transfer the data from my hard drive to a new laptop. I sent an email to Dan late in the evening explaining my emergency and requesting he call me to see what he could do. He did call me back and offered for me to bring the laptop to his shop in the morning. I did. Dan diagnosed the problem and determined the laptop was unrepairable. He then retrieved the hard drive and together we troubleshot the hard drive until we were able to get access to the data and start the transfer of data to a new laptop I purchased directly from Dan. This process took several hours during which we talked and got to know one another. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience repairing computers and his willingness to sit and work with me through this laptop disaster. I could not have found a better person to help me out. I believe he was likely the only place and person in the area that could have helped me out. I am so glad I found Dan and consider him not just a computer repairman, but a new found friend. Thank you Dan for your outstanding service and help and friendship.

Went very well. Dan is very experienced and knowledgeable. Addressed our problem (malware on a MacBook). Quick turnaround and reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Dan was very responsive and helpful. He helped get the computer running for the time being (but it continued to crash). After many months of frustration and disappointment, I returned it to the store and bought a different brand.

Extraordinary. Along with repairs I always receive advise explained in a manner that a non computer person (such as myself) could understand. If and when I did want a new computer I could rely fully on all the functions and fully loaded programs to run immediately. If ever I had a question, I knew that computer helpers would e-mail (or text) a response in short order and I could resolve any difficulty I could encounter. I would highly recommend computer helpers to anyone desiring the need and assistance of a professional and efficient expert in this field!

Computer Helpers have been both very professional and punctual in all my dealings with them, at a very fair price. In addition, I've always left their office having learned something new, for which I'm very grateful.

The repairs were made and the price was very fair. I have been impressed with the service and the quality of work. I have purchased several computers from Computer Helpers and have been very satisfied. Once they saved me approximately $800 over the Apple store estimate for repair. I find them to be very trustworthy. If the repair is taking longer than normal, They will send me an email update to keep me informed. I would not take my computer to anyone else. I look forward to their training classes and always come away better informed particularly when it concerns computer security and windows 10.

Great. Two computers were replaced with new equipment/software from Computer Helpers. Third laptop was infected with virus and they wiped it and reloaded all Software. They have also repaired some of our hardware on PC's We have been using Computer Helpers for at least 6 years. They are our preferred Computer specialists. We have also purchased an Apple laptop with all software, large Dell monitor, laptop speakers, lighted keyboard. We attended most of the computer classes that were held. This training was great and covered various subjects including basic computer technology, security, new operating systems, etc. it was priced around $25 per class which was an excellent value. The classes provided current information, advice that was reliable, and the opportunity to hear what was expected in technology development. Dan Jones and his team at Computer Helpers are an asset to us. The cost of service listed on this review was our most recent when our PC was hit with ransomware and was replaced.

It went great. Computer had several issues and it hasn't feasible to repair. I has able to purchase a new computer from Dan for a good deal and he brought it to my house and sat it up and it works great. He was able to save the 2nd 1 TB hard drive in my old computer and install it as a 2nd hard drive in my new computer. My printer cable wasn't long enough and he went back to his shop and got one that would fit and brought it back the same day. He installed Malware software also on the new computer. I can't believe how much faster that the new computer is. Dan answered all my questions and had me up and running in just a few days from start to finish. I recommend very highly. I have also attended some of his computer training classes as well.

All my dealings with Dan have been very satisfying - he is always willing to answer your questions. He does offer computer help in your home if needed - simply call and schedule

Excellent, have had software upgraded, repaired, installed, and also purchases new hardware from him, also have attended some of his classes, they are well worth the money! His location at his home business in Oak Ridge is easy to find and very convenient, I never could have purchased the computer system I got from him at the same price from anyone else, and I know he stands behind his work and products!

Repair service was outstanding! Computer is working just fine. Had my computer back in my hands the following day. :-D Any firmware, software, virus protections are all up to date, and cost me less than $100! No one provides this level of service. :-D

It went great! The work was done quickly at a cost-effective price & I have not had any more problems.

We do and would , recommend them very highly to anyone in need of any type of computer work or needing a computer or computer accessories.

I was having problems with shutdowns and blue screen errors. Dan checked the system and found many conflicts with the programs I had on my computer. He suggested that the best solution was to reinstall windows 10 and start with a clean computer. The reinstallation was performed on time and at a reasonable cost. I've been pleased with the results and have had no problems since (three months).

Exactly the way I expected. It developed a problem which he had corrected under the warranty. His service and cost estimate and pricing are the reason I recommend him to those I know.

They are first rate, and priced very reasonably -- as you can see I have returned again & again over the last decade....

We have always been pleased with the services provided by Computer Helpers. Their team is very knowledgeable and offer the best value for the price. They have built a couple laptops for my family and for both my son and daughter as they were going to college. They provide excellent service after the sale. They were even able to recover pictures and important data files when our computer crashed.

I thought both computers were a very good value and they are both still going with no problem

I have been MOST pleased with the long relationship that I have had with Computer Helpers and Dan Jones of Oak Ridge. Absolutely excellent!!! I have bought 3 lap tops, a CPU and monitor from them. All have performed extremely well. In addition, I have had other units repaired. In some cases, I have just called them for advise.
