The Wills Company

It was okay. I had to have a lot of work done after they left. It wasn't one very good job. Based on what I got, I guess the price was too much but it was probably less than other people were charging.

Our roof leaked into an upstairs bedroom. Wills Co recommended a roofer to do repairs. They removed shingles without new shingles available and storms forecasted to which we voiced our concerned. Storms came and we had major leaks into dining room and kitchen which warped hardwood floors. Have had two more rounds of leaks since the one just mentioned. We are now at one year since the original leak. On the pool decking, we showed them two tiles that needed to be replaced. They hired some stone workers who showed up and started grinding the grout from between tiles all around our pool until we stopped them and asked what they were doing. They said "sorry, we must have misunderstood". It took about six months for them to re-grout the multiple random places they messed up. And the grout doesn't even match! Truthfully, I have never written a bad review before although sometimes we have had bad experiences. But this is beyond anything I have ever experienced or heard of before.

The do quality work.

Generally it went well.  The job was completed a little late because they did not pay attention to the days I told them I had to be out of town.  I am happy with the result, though.  I decided to write this report to alert you to one problem.  We had the job estimated and contracted.  During the job, we changed color with the painting.  They had estimated one coat of paint, and now it was going to require two.  I knew I would have to pay more, and I was expecting a few hundred dollars.  They gave me an estimate for the additional painting--it was $4400.  I said I thought that was too much, so Dave said he would check back with the painter.  They came back with $3100.  I still thought that was too much, so I told them to complete the job as contracted, and I would get another painter to finish.  They did, and I then got a painter, one that I had used several times before, to complete the job.  The cost was $365, including the paint.  I'm not sure why that came down as it did, but I would make sure you have all your work in the contract before you start when you deal with this company.  I have the receipts and will be happy to show them.

The excellent work was done on time and for the price quoted. They cost more than most, but it was hassle free.

I was very pleased with the work that Wills Co performed for me. They were punctual and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.
