John Gilbert should win realtor of the year for his work with us!  We began the process of buying a home in the construction world back in April.  We picked the lot, sat through the meetings, made the selections and then found out the company was out of money!  He guided us through the process of getting out of that contract in a legal manner.  We would have been completely lost and in a REALLY bad situation if we had not had John with us.  We are so thankful to have made contact with John through the Ashton website and started looking at houses with him.  He was amazing at handling tough situations that were really uncomfortable for me.  He was able to say what needed to be said and be completely professional the entire time.  He made more phone calls and sent more emails than we can even count!  John was always more than ready to help in any way he could.  If he wasn't directly able to answer a question or provide a service, he always found the answer or someone who could.
Once out of our construction contract in early November, John knew our likes and dislikes and helped us quickly find the perfect house for us!  He handled communication with the other realtor perfectly!  We closed 3 weeks after we put the offer on the house!  We were so excited to be in a new home for the holidays after such a nightmare of a situation with the bad builder.  Even since closing, we still talk to John.  We were so excited to have had someone so wonderful be with us on this journey and find a friend out of it all!  Thanks again, John!
