Tab Hunter Heating & A/C

I should’ve known when they came out 12 hours late, for their appointment to install my heating/cooling unit at 9 PM at night. It’s a long story but basically it is never run right, it leaks out of its seams and is green with algae or whatever. It’s got inches of water inside. They would come out when I called but told me there’s nothing wrong. Course for the first 20 times they never looked at the unit, just checked air temps of the cold air return and vents and said it was fine. Finally, they replaced the New ductwork, they replace the New thermostat, they never knew why it didn’t work and they don’t care. Weeks would go by after they said they’d discuss it and return. Then I’d call again. I have had this unit over year, I’ve probably called them out 30, 40 times. They blame each other. My house is at all times 10 to 15° warmer than the thermostat reading. Its set at 70, today it’s at 86 in here. Even my clothes are soaking wet, I have to change sometimes twice a day. Now, I understand they sold their Florida office and moved to their Tennessee office. They won’t stand by their contract. They won’t replace Or remove the unit, they don’t know how to fix it. I am a 74 year old senior who has given them $7,700 of my retirement money. I had to purchase window a/c’s and fans and my electric bill has doubled from days of my old unit. I’m probably out over $9,000 and I am sweating to death. NEVER use them. I found they have many names. I fell under Surfin Plumbers, Heating and Cooling, But I found he has used Tab Hunter, Pritchard, Hunter, and other names. They were out of Bradenton, Florida and are now also in Tennessee. This is a short synopsis, I have plenty more info and pictures.

Their customer service was very poor.
