Work is still ongoing. On schedule and budget so far.

The room was gutted down to the studs. The floor was removed and studs were reinforced under the house. The ceiling was removed and all new insulation was installed along with all new electrical and plumbing lines. New vents went into the roof as condensation had been a problem in this bathroom. The air conditioning vents were also cleaned and moved to fit with the new layout of the bathroom.
A new floor including heating elements was installed and tiled over. All new light fixtures were installed including LED cam lights. Throughout the job Southern Home tried to use materials that were environmentally safe and would also save us money for years to come. The shower was tiled and is a work of art. The tile installer took his time to be sure both the pattern and the placements were perfect. Care was taken to ensure that fixtures that were to be hung on the walls had adequate wood behind them during the framing. The cabinets, counter tops and bath tub were all installed with perfection down to the last sixteenth of an inch!
The job site was kept clean and workers swept up and removed garbage daily. The workers were friendly, professional and knew their craft well. They totally made sure I was completely happy. If I had concerns Southern Home kept at it until I was satisfied.
My only complaint had to do with delays from the tile company and the Plumbing supplies from Ferguson.
