We are very impressed and extremely satisfied.  We left our two-year-old (neutered) male German Shepherd for the four-week Board and Train program. Ali and Damon were extremely professional and went over all of their goals when we first dropped him off about six weeks ago. We were struck by the cleanliness of the kennels. The entire facility is immaculate and has an impressive physical plant.  Great kennel building, great outdoor facility, great indoor training building with home-like setup.

During his stay, we were sent excellent photos every four days, as promised, as well as informal progress reports. It helped to see not only his progress but that he was enjoying himself.

On picking him up a little over a week ago, Damon spent a good two hours with us going over all the training and giving us an opportunity to begin to learn the training principles and techniques, which seem well-founded and sensible. Then we spent time reviewing his progress and he and Ali gave us a well-thought-out lesson plan for the future.

He's been home for about 2 weeks and many people, including at the facility where he goes for "day care" twice a week, have commented that he seems calmer and clearly more obedient.  It's very rewarding to be able to put him in a "down" while a lot is going on around him and have him stay put.  We need to keep working but the improvement is really clear.  It's also great that we can easily contact them if we have any questions. The increased sense of confidence is very rewarding.

We highly recommend Nashville K-9 if you need a seasoned professional trainer who understands how to work with and care for your dog.

I dropped my 1 year old Rottweiler, Enzo, off at Nashville K9's kennel location on June 1st. I was allowed to visit with him once during his time there. He was focused on training and exercise, so it doesn't really help the dog to disrupt the routine (but I was sad and just dying to see him!!). On June 30th I went to NK9's training facility in Bellevue. The business owner, Ali, then proceeded to train me and show me all of the great skills my dog learned. It was amazing. I dropped off an energetic puppy who would not walk properly on a leash and not listen to commands and picked up an obedient, stable, eager to please dog. He now sits, downs, stays without being told to stay, he knows the command and quot;placeand quot; and goes directly to his blanket in the living room, he heels during walks and does all of this on and OFF LEASH.

I can NOT stress how incredible this journey has been. Enzo has been home for a month and is getting better and better each day. We stick to the suggested routine and practice for just 10-15 minutes a day. He is a pleasure to take anywhere because he can focus and listen now.
By the way, this is my second Rottie who has been trained by Nashville K9 and I highly recommend them. The team is very professional and really caring and fun with the dogs. The followup afterward has been great. I get email and texts from Ali checking on our progress. If I need anything, he is right there. If you need some dog (or people) training, there's no one better in this town!!

If you want a well trained dog, go to Nashville K9. There is nothing like walking your dog and not being walked by your dog. Advanced off-leash obedience is AWESOME. If your dog sees some small animal dart away and then takes off in chase, a simple command brings your dog safely back and to your side. It's nice having people notice and comment on how well your dog behaves as their dog tugs at the leash and refuses to listen. I've recommended Nashville K9 to friends and family.
