We hired Music City Remodeling to remove our tub in our master bathroom and replace it with a storage bench and extend our shower. The communication with Tiffany (CSR) was horrendous. Her attitude was “ our way or the highway”. She has a rough exterior type communication with an attitude that you the customer do not matter to us. We hired them on July 1, 2025 and Franklin came out to assess the job and promised us it would be completed in two weeks. Tiffany gave us a materials list which we took to Floor and Decor and purchased. Then Music City went back to Floor and Decor without discussing with us and purchased even more materials under our account. They over purchased to the tune of almost $1,000. They did return the over purchases but left them in three places at our house for several weeks. They came in on July 1 and demolished our bathroom and then informed us the next day they wouldn’t be back for a week! Our house looked like a disaster zone. My husband was so upset he told them that was totally unacceptable so they sent a contractor out for one more day that week. Our first estimate on the job did not hold up because Franklin did not listen to me as I explained the storage bench I wanted to replace the bathtub so we were charged an additional $1,700 for the bench when it was completed. The work was not completed until mid August. Then as we started using the shower - it pours water onto the floor each time we shower. It appears the pitch on the shower was not built so the water would drain back into the shower so Music City blames Cory the shower contractor that they told us to use and he blames them for the problem. Franklin told us he’d make it right but never did. Now each time we shower we must squiggy the door area before we get out of the shower or it pours onto our rug and floor. I would not recommend Music City Remodelers to remodel for any of my friends. I have been asked by several and I tell them all my experience with this outfit. Also we never knew what time of day nor even what day they were going to show up to work. Sometimes we were just told that someone would be by that day but no appointment time nor general idea what time they’d be here. This was so inconvenient if we needed to go out that day.Tiffany gave Cory, the shower glass guy, the wrong address and then reprimanded us for not being home when he came. All in all we had a very bad experience hiring Music City Remodeling. They do not value the customer’s time nor position as a client. They do not stand behind their work and “make it right” as promised.

First off the helper were out of town subcontractors, not regular employees.  There was a main guy and his ancient dad.  We thought at the time that the service was okay, but 6 months later we are still finding evidence of the shoddy work they actually did.  At the time we had just moved in and were slammed with a million things going on and didn't pay full attention to everything while they were here.  They installed a towel bar that was 6 inches off level - aka very crooked.  The hand towel bar they installed fell out within a month.  They did build a very sturdy mailbox holder, although it leaves something to be desired aesthetically.  They successfully removed a light fixture and relocated it to another room and we haven't had issues with that, knock on wood.  The gate fix they did works structurally but looks aesthestically horrible and I realize after the fact that we should not have allowed it to be done.  They basically took a wide piece of board and put it diagonally across to provide support but it doesn't match the rest of the gate or deck and sticks out like a sore thumb!  All in all we feel like we totally wasted our money and should have waited more patiently to find a qualified handyman rather than trying to save money by using an Angie's List deal and getting burned!

They were relatively professional and did competent work. All 3 of the jobs are all still in good working condition after 1 year. All in all, I was, and am, pleased w/ the service provided.

Really didn't have a clue what he was doing. I had taken a half day off work to be home to allow access and it took him 6 hours to do a simple job. I have had this same job performed by another company in another home I owned and it only took them 2 hours.

Two very nice men showed up exactly on time and did a very good job putting a railing

on one side of my front steps and then put in some edging around in the front.

They had 10 minutes left of their 2 hours and wondered if I wanted them to do anything else. How great was that!

I purchased the deal for $129. Very happy with the result. Franklin and
his employee were very professional and friendly. They have rescreened 4
torn window screens and did a ton of other little jobs around the house.
I highly recommend this company! We moved into the area a year ago and I
had a hard time finding a handyman company that I could trust. I
believe I have found one now.

They came to my house yesterday. They got there at 9:30a. There were two guys. One of them gave my wife a flyer saying that they were in my house to do their job for 4 hours. They charged $50 an hour! They didn't complete the work so they told her she would pay for 1 more hour of service. My wife gave them $50. She wrote a check. Later on they called and said we owe them $200 extra. I asked how did you come up with the extra $200? They said the flyer said it. They also said it was also $50 an hour PER person working. Our flyer said ($50 an hour), not $50 an hour per person.
Response from MUSIC CITY REMODELING
"Two technicians arrived on site at 930 am and spoke with (member name removed) immediately upon arrival outside the home, not his wife. They handed him the Angie's List Coupon details printed directly from the Big Deal which clearly states the coupon is valid for 4 MAN hrs (2 men/2 hrs or 1 man/4 hrs) and that it was an additional $50 per man hour/man for any additional hrs. Since they had two men, they explained to him that they would work the two hrs under the coupon and it looked like they would not be able to complete all of the work in that time frame. He approved an additional 3 to 4 hrs (6 to 8 man hrs) over the coupon value of 4 man hours. (member name removed) then left the home. When the technicians completed the project in 4.5 hrs (9 man hrs) they explained to Mrs. (member name removed) that she owed an additional $250 for the extra 5 hrs. She refused to pay that amount even though Mr. (member name removed) had agreed to it and the coupon stated it. To avoid confrontation, my technician took the check for $50 and contacted me immediately to resolve the outstanding balance of $200."

They did a nice job and it looks good now. They were very careful not to make a mess and to put things back in place. They were very conscientious.

Called them as we were concerned about a leak around the dryer vent which protrudes through the roof. They determined the dryer vent was 90% plugged which was causing condensation in the attic. They cleaned out the dryer vent which eliminated the condensation and dramatically improved the efficiency of our dryer. They were professional and and there fee was very reasonable.

Came with the HOA and had old wooden fence removedInstalled a sturdy vivlyn siding fence and made it look very much to match the decor of our outside home.

Franklin initially impressed me with his knowledge and willingness to offer guidance before he even had the job. When he visited to give an estimate, he offered suggestions for several different scenarios and educated me on some of the problems I would face with my particular situation. I appreciated his integrity and was not disappointed. His crew was professional, efficient, and pleasant to have in my home. They cleaned up daily and were cognizant of the fact that I needed certain appliances each night. They worked full days and finished in reasonable time. I even tacked on an extra small project at the end that they welcomed, and I felt like they truly appreciated my business. We are still dealing with one unforeseen snafu that will require some time to work out, but it's a minor decorative decision as opposed to a mistake that the crew made. A pleasant experience, overall.

Music City Remodeling (MCR) was prompt in giving an estimate. Price was in line with others but they seemed more knowledgeable and had creative ideas on how to enhance the space beyond what I had previously and within the price of the insurance settlement. I was very pleased with my decision to work with MCR again (they had done work in my previous home last year.) The work was high quality, they were flexible with my schedule; and one of the most important things. Franklin and all of his workers display a high level of integrity and pride in their work. I trusted them in my home even when I wasn't there. Franklin was very scrutinizing of the work, performing a walk through with me to ensure satisfaction before asking for payment. They even cleaned the entire lower level to remove dust and soil that had accumulated during the work. They can also perform just about any type of work needed in a home - a one stop shop for roofing, painting, flooring, handyman, additions, etc.
