I could not have been more disappointed. When the crew arrived at my house, I took her through each room and described what I was looking for to be done. We have floating shelves with bric a brac in every room of the house and celiling fans. First of all, when I reached out directly to the provider to insure that the job could be done on my timeline (before purchase) I was assured that they could be there on Tuesday to perform the work before my houseguests arrived on Wednesday. During that call, it was suggested that I go ahead and “purchase” the service over the phone, not through Angie’s List offers. I did make the purchase at that time and scheduled the service. The scheduled time was arranged so that I could run home for lunch to let them in and discuss what I was looking to have done. I put my dogs outside so that they could perform the work without difficulty, and so the dogs would not leave a mess behind once the provider left. When the crew arrived, I took them through each room in the house and described what services would be performed. Since I was working from the description in the offer, I discussed all of the bric-brac located in each room, especially the “high” dusting. My daughter has a collection of porcelain horses on high floating shelves in her room. When I spoke about dusting these items the provider stated that she could not reach them and that she was afraid that she would break them. I indicated that we had a step stool for her to reach the items that were part of what I purchased (again based on their verbiage in the offer, and that I fully expected these items to be dusted.) I pointed out the ceiling fans in all rooms, window sills, baseboards, and floors as were described in the offer. I left linens to be put on the beds in 2 of 3 bedrooms. I did ask that they clean the refrigerator instead of the oven and that was confirmed by a phone call back to the office. When I returned home, I was so disappointed that I cried. Every ceiling fan in the house still had a THICK layer of dust, no surface above eye level had been cleaned at all. The frame around the bathroom mirror still had dust, the shelf above the kitchen sink (glass) had not been wiped off, much less cleaned. NONE of the high dusting had been done and most of the wall decorations were still dirty. One of the worst examples of cleaning I have ever seen. The following morning (the day my guests were due to arrive), I called the office to talk about my experience and how unhappy I was with what was provided to me. The person on the phone said that they did not have anyone available to come back until Thursday afternoon, but after complaining a little more, they agreed to send someone out in the late morning on Wednesday. They assured me that they would be back to fix the issues. My daughter had to call in to work, because I no longer felt confident leaving them to work unsupervised in my home. So the new crew came and cleaned the “upper” items. Ceiling fans, picture frames, etc. But they didn’t really clean up what fell down. There is a reason we clean from “Top to bottom”, gravity. They did re-clean the kitchen floor. According to my daughter, the opened some spray bottle, poured cleaning solution on the floor and mopped it in. this of course, left an extremely sticky residue and I had to re-mop my floor while my company was already at my home. All in all this was the worst experience ever and I would not recommend this company at all. I don't know that I would ever hire out a deep cleaning again if this is the quality of work I can expect. the point in hiring this out is simply not having the time to get it done myself.
