Move Out Express

This is my experience with Move Out Express. I hired this company to pack household items. I had already separated/sorted items and was explicit on how the boxes were to labeled. Ex: "All this group is to be labeled dishes/garage and this group is to labeled dishes kitchen." It was very simple. I was moving to another city and was going to be buying a house so I didn't want to unpack an entire house just to have to pack it up again. I told her to make sure and get the dishes in the cabinet above the refrigerator and in the pull out below the stove. She had come a week earlier to give an estimate of how long it would take and how much she would need as far as supplies. She ran out of supplies and had to go and buy more. I paid her for the time she was gone plus the supplies. To make a long story short it was a disaster. After the movers had gone I found the dishes above the refrigerator and the below the stove not packed. This left me with no packing supplies or boxes, trying to figure out how to transport these items in an already full car. When I got to my new place I found everything had been mislabeled so boxes that should have gone into the garage were hauled into the kitchen only to have to be hauled into the garage. All she had to do was pack 2 separate groups. She combined things that should have been stored with everyday things. So everything had to be unpacked, sorted through and repacked. She packed laundry detergent and bleach with books. You know what happened there. I contacted her within the day and several times afterwards to let her know she had left items unpacked and everything was a big mess. Several days later she finally emailed me saying she was sorry about leaving the dishes but she considered that a "minor error." She also stated she labeled boxes based on the room they came out of which was totally untrue because I found bedroom things in with bathroom stuff, shoes with linens, etc. Some things I still haven't found. I also gave this gal lunch and paid her for that time she wasn't working. This work was done in Nashville and the company's address is listed as 5510 Country Drive Nashville. Nashville is in Davidson County but she charged me Wilson Co tax as well as Tn state tax. I have moved several times inter and intra state and never had an issue with movers, cleaners, packers, etc. I generally assume people are professional and capable of doing their jobs so I don't stand over them every minute to make sure they are doing their job. I obviously should have stood over her since she was incapable of following simple directions. On the plus side she was in time. I found some reviews of this company after the fact (she also does move out cleans) that were similar to mine. I would never recommend this company under any circumstance.
