The air conditioning in my truck started intermittently cutting out on a hot Sunday last September. The following day on the way to work, there was a grinding sound coming from under the hood so I pulled into Markee. Mark (the mechanic and co-owner) determined that the compressor needed to be replaced and started work that same day. I had my vehicle back after work.
Mark reminds me of Tom and Ray on Car Talk: he has deep knowledge of how cars work and the sorts of issues that commonly arise with particular makes and models and clearly lays out options available (in a Boston accent, no less).
I appreciated how quickly Mark determined the work that needed to be done and the accurate quote on both cost and timeframe.
Summer is starting now this year, and the A/C is still going strong.
