I found a beautiful etched mirror from the 1940s and Madison Glass re-silvered it for me. The shop is very cool; looks like it's from another era. They did a great job; my only caveat is that it took longer than they said it would, but I understand why. They are one of the very few who re-silver mirrors and it's something that they do when they get enough jobs to fire up the equipment, not something they do on a weekly basis.

These guys are great. As it turns out I made 3 trips to get the mirrored panels the correct size because the measurements on the cabinets varied by a very slight degree in some spots. They did the work--which was a very simple task for them--but treated me like I was making a huge purchase! And what an interesting shop-it is full of some antiques, old pictures of famous folks and a very friendly dog and cat.

I called, they came and measured 5 days later and scheduled the job for a week away because the glass had to be ordered. They called the morning of the installation and since I was home, they came a little early. They worked continuously and showed me what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves. They explained the invoice and told me what to expect in followup for the next 24 hours. The estimate was correct and the work completed as we had agreed

On time and inexpensive. The shop is fun to visit with different kinds of glass scattered everywhere. Seems like an old family business.

The service was good. They were responsive. I had measured one incorrectly and had to go back. He sold me the new piece for half of the cost which I appreciated.

I have three skylights in my family room. Previously one skylight got moisture between the panes (after 20 years), and I ordered a replacement from the manufacturer, and installed it myself. When a second skylight had the same problem, I called, but the manufacturer had discontinued the model. I called Madison Glass, who were very professional, and offered the latest technology- low-e glass with Argon filled space. I ordered two skylight replacements so all the panes will match (low-e glass has a slight tint). I will install the new panes when the weather is better. Madison's price was half that of another company which I called!! Plus, a visit to their facility is a unique experience- low overhead and interesting memorabilia everywhere.

I called, rep was very cordial, and I ordered the mirror. He offered to come measure but I was sure of the size I needed. When it came in, I received a call and it was installed within a few days.

This kind of company is a rare find now days. They care about their customers and try to give the most for a dollar-versus giving the least. These guys were 1/3rd the price of everyone else. Why? Because you must take the doors or windows to their shop to have them measured and fixed. Once the ordered glass comes in, you take the doors or windows back to the shop and the new glass is installed within two hours. It took 10 days for them to receive the special order of tempered glass. Their competition said it would be 4-6 weeks. I saved almost $600 by going to Madison Glass, Co. and got it in 10 days rather than 4-6 weeks (28-42 days). They did a fine professional job and the windows were clean without excess glue. They treated me with respect and I would highly recommend them.

Madison Glass Company did a great job. They finished everything on time and cleaned up when they were done. The worker knew exactly what he was doing too. I've already recommended them to family and friends.
