In my view, Lotus Building Group is more focused on hiding bad reviews than fixing the serious damage they cause. Working with them was the most disastrous contractor experience I?ve ever had and left us in financial and personal turmoil. We had a budget locked in months earlier, confirmed over and over in writing, yet in the final 30 days Lotus suddenly tacked on more than $500,000 with no meeting, no signed change order, no explanation. Their invoices were riddled with questionable charges, including timesheets for days when no one was on site and ?in-house? work that was actually subcontracted. The quality of work was appalling: leaks, undersized HVAC, unsafe electrical, sloppy tile, ruined marble, and even false claims about U&O approval. The kitchen cabinets were the worst?paint peeling in weeks, doors the wrong size, shelves exposed, rough surfaces, and bargain-bin wood. In my opinion, their cabinet business is unreliable and felt like a scam. Stay far, far away.

Their billing records show fraudulent timesheets and inflated labor, which we are pursuing legal action over. The project was plagued by negligence: multiple water leaks, a broken sewer line, undersized HVAC, and major plumbing/electrical mistakes. Independent contractors confirmed serious negligence. Lotus even lied about having U&O approval when inspections had failed. The owner, Keegan, repeatedly gaslit us, dismissed concerns, and took no accountability. Reviews are being suppressed while lawsuits pile up. Bottom line: They are deceptive, negligent, and dangerous. Avoid Lotus Building Group at all costs.

Hiring Lotus Building Group was a disaster. The renovation was riddled with structural failures, poor craftsmanship, and gross mismanagement, leading to multiple insurance claims and hundreds of thousands in unexpected repair costs. The work was unacceptable: a third-party painter confirmed the expensive "Roman clay" finish was never used, and the walls appear to be drywall mud mixed with paint. Improper installation caused massive water leaks from a sliding door and a failing foundation. The HVAC system is undersized and leaks, and cabinets have improperly sized doors. Their financial practices were equally poor. The budget was raised by over $500,000 without approval, and we have photographic evidence that they billed for labor on days when no one was on-site. They also billed excessively for work that was outsourced to another contractor.

Over budget, NO schedule, sub par quality work, absolutely NO customer service, NO accountability for mistakes, fraudulent billing practices, & demeaning executives. Will sell you a dream and deliver a nightmare. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Im not the only one here saying this. Look at the other reviews.

Our experience with Lotus was disappointing due to significant cost and time overestimates, poor craftsmanship, and dismissive communication. Workers didn?t track hours honestly, and the project manager charged high rates for basic tasks. Mistakes were a financial burden since warranty work wasn?t honored without argument, and we were billed for correcting poor craftsmanship. Subcontractors lacked experience, and the finished product had no attention to detail. We repeatedly begged for fixes to blatantly shoddy work. When concerns were raised, Lotus dismissed or gaslit us, forcing us to accept mediocrity. Their unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and disregard for quality make them a poor choice. Save your time, money, and frustration by looking elsewhere.

We recently â completedâ a major remodel with Lotus. It has been the most stressful & painful experience. We were surprised by the unethical & unprofessional behavior. We were also disappointed by the lack of clarity in answering our billing questions especially regarding labor & project management hours billed. We chose Lotus because we liked & trusted Keegan & were sold on their specialty in custom cabinetry. That is exactly where our issues have come from. Our kitchen cabinets have cost close to double the original estimate. When we met to discuss & get some clarification, it felt like Keegan would just gas light us. It might have been palatable but for the absolute substandard finish on our now 6 figure cabinets. When we received our cabinet faces, there was an issue with the quality of paint finish & caulking. Lotus agreed & had another painter come in & try to fix. When that painter finished, there were 2 different finishes between the original paint & the fixed paint. We notified Lotus & they put our project on hold for a month. When they came back, they agreed there was an issue, & were going to replace some of the faces & have everything fixed. Before reinstalling, we went to look at them with Lotus & all agreed there were still many with issues & several that still needed to be replaced. After going back & forth with our attorneys, Lotus returned this summer with supposedly fixed cabinet faces. After reinstalling them, there were still many paint & caulking issues. They then had a different painter come in to attempt to fix. When they were finished there were still many issues that apparently couldnâ t be fixed. Now they are trying to charge us for the most recent warranty paint work. We have estimates of $24,000 to fix our cabinets â not including getting new faces for the many that arenâ t repairable. Lotus has ignored other warranty items & said they have sufficiently completed their job & will not be returning to our property. Now back to the attorneys.
