From the very fist phone call with Lillian, she was very professional, punctual, and organized. During the first walk, Lillian explained the process and what had to be done in each area and why. Both Lillian and David were very helpful to all of our needs. They did a fantastic job here at Hampton Inn Franklin. Will use Lillian int he future when needed.

The papering was done according to schedule during a refresh renovation of living space. There was a problem, however. The wallpaper selected (I believe it was Sherwin Williams) was defective in that it was not cut exactly straight so that the edges had periodic noticeable gaps revealing the dry wall behind.
My issue here is that this issue should have been recognized early on in the papering process, it should have been reported to the project manager, the installation should have been halted immediately, and remediation (perhaps new paper?) should have followed. However, the installers continued and actually completed the paper work - gaps and all. When this was brought to the attention of the PM, Lillians was asked to correct the obvious flaws. The (Lillians) owner repeatedly declined to communicate with the PM.
This level of unprofessionalism and refusal of accountability is unconscionable. We would never have Lillians do any more work for us nor recommend Lillians to others.

Excellent experience! Lillian knows her stuff and employs hardworking, considerate, talented helpers to provide a quality job. Though the walls in this home had not been properly prepared for wallpaper, Lillian managed to remove the old and very stubborn paper with a minimum of damage to the walls. The prepping of the stripped walls for paint after paper was impressive. Lillian knows her products and her combinations of sealers and primers and pixie dust left us with painted walls that looked like they were in a new house. Also, I have to note that she and her crew were very careful with the hardwood floors in both rooms, and were particular about their clean-up after each hard day's work. Here's what you won't get if you hire Lillian-- you won't hear cursing in your home, you won't have workers smoking in your home, you won't have workers tracking water/glue/paint/dirt across your floors, and you won't have workers' trash to pick up after they leave. We were beyond satisfied with their presence in the house and the beautiful end result. There were no surprise charges, the job went just as she had told us it would, and the end result is lovely. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her services in our next renovations!

Lillian had to come a few different times to get everything done, and I think our job proved to be more difficult than expected. She left everything in good shape and very clean and walked us through exactly what she would and would not be able to do. She's very good at her job, and we would use her again.

Lillian did an AWESOME job! She was on time, and cleaned up after the job was completed. She set the right expectations regarding what she could and might not be able to do. In the end she was able to remove all of the paper without damage to the walls and with the exception of some minor sanding it was ready to paint!
I will definitely use her services again when I am ready to have additional work done!

Lillian was on time, personable, and did a fabulous job removing and replacing wallpaper in my kitchen and living room. I will definitely call Lillian again when II need any work done related to wallpapering!

We purchased a big deal for 8 hours of wallpaper removal for $189. I figured the job would take more than 8 hours, but figured this would be a good start. Lillian arrived on time and worked hard to complete about half of the kitchen removal in the allotted time. She did a great job and was very conscientious with her time. We contracted for an additional $375 to finish the rest of the kitchen, and she got that ready to paint as well.

I was having wallpaper removed from 2 bedrooms, study, and hallway before my regular painter came to paint all of the rooms. I had purchased from Angie's List a certificate for 2 rooms of wallpaper removal. I removed the wallpaper from the study, the hallway and partially from one of the bedrooms. Lillian's Interiors was hired to finish removing the wallpaper from the two bedrooms. The removal they did in the bedrooms was very poor workmanship. In several places in both rooms they got the walls too wet with the steamer and in removing the paper put gouges in the walls and did not clean the walls enough, leaving wallpaper paste and other chemicals on the walls. According to my painter and her assistant they had to do several hours of repair work after Lillian Interior's work before the walls could be painted so my cost to the painters was a lot more. I cannot recommend Lillian Interior's based on the work that was performed for me.

"Why did you wait two years to give a review? Anytime you paper on unsealed and unprimed walls you are going to have dry wall damage. You allowed the adhesive to re wet then re dry which makes it a lot worse. Once you begin a removal you absolutely must stay with it.. Or at least clean to the corner then start another wall. I came into the middle of the job and had to finish what someone else had started.. I told you that a drywall contractor would have to build up the walls for paint. I'm sorry that the person before you did not prep your walls prior to installing your wallcovering.. I'll be happy to work for you in the future., My Best. Lillian"

The consultation went well. We went to different stores and she gave opinions and advice for flooring to match our wall coverings. She gave great advice and we were able to select our flooring.

Lillian did a wonderful job. She did have her hands full with the two layers of wallpaper. She even came back after her time was up just to make sure she did not leave me in a mess and she put down a coating of primer on the walls so we could get them ready to paint.

If you ever need wallpaper removed, Lillian is the person. Her years of experience was evident as she completed this "not so fun" task. She is very professional, courteous and works non-stop to complelte the task at hand. I purchased a Big Deal for 8 hours of wallpaper removal. I really needed to have this done and due to health problems, I cannot do it myself. I spoke with the service provider on the phone and communicated what I needed done. She confirmed an appointment for Monday, May 6th. That day, she never showed up. I called to find out what was happening. She explained she had me down for an appointment for Monday, Monday 13th. I said ok, that's fine. That Monday came and went and she never came. I tried calling her and texting her and she never responded. I noticed she was still posting pictures and information on Facebook, but she would not respond to me. I'm very irritated and looking for a refund.

We finally decided it was time to get someone to remove the peeling, outdated wallpaper from our guest bathroom, and we turned to Angie's List to look for a contractor to do the job. This was our first time using Angie's, and I have to say that we are most pleased with how everything turned out! We were a bit hesitant to undertake this job because several years ago we had the wallpaper removed in several rooms in the house, and it was a disaster! The wallpaper apparently wasn't prepped correctly when it was applied, and when the other companies removed the wallpaper it destroyed the drywall - we then had to have extensive drywall repair / skim coats done etc.
Lillian arrived promptly and got right to work on the bathroom. She was very professional and friendly, and she did a fantastic job getting the wallpaper off! The job she did was like night and day compared to our previous experiences... there was very minimal damage to the drywall, she got all the wallpaper paste off and put a clear sealer on the walls. She didn't even take a lunch break until almost 3pm so she could get the sealer on and it could be drying while she was taking her break. Then she came back and put a first coat of drywall mud on the few areas that needed patching.
Lillian did a wonderful job, and she saved me hours and hours of work! Now all I have to do is paint the walls and we will have a "brand new" bathroom! I would not hesitate to use Lillian's Interiors again, and would highly recommend this contractor to anyone.
