We've used Kuhn several times now for our HVAC needs and they are always friendly and priced fair. They act fast for emergencies, too! Keep up the good work!

AC went out Monday evening called Kuhn on Tuesday and had someone to the house by 1. He was thorough and found the issue quickly. He even took the time to check our other unit to ensure we were all good to go. He went above and beyond and was very transparent with what he found and how to fix. I will definitely go back to Kuhn for all HVAC needs.

Tim showed up and got right to work after a brief introduction. He was very friendly and helpful and was very knowledgeable. Once he found the problem he gave me several options I could pick from. The price of the repair was ultimately the same, the only differences was the options for some maintenance on the unit while he had it opened up, and the price differences on the warranty. They also give veteran discounts which was very nice. I will definitely use them again should I need HVAC help.

No one wants to call for AC service, but if you have to, I strongly endorse Ed Kuhn. His techs are top notch and his prices are fair. They really do a great job and make sure you're happy before they leave. Tim figured out my problem in five minutes and didn't charge me for the service call. They didn't have to do that -- I asked for a service call to be dispatched and I would have paid happily, but they value customer satisfaction more than any other trade company I've ever worked with.

Went very well - Teams arrived on schedule and had both HVAC systems (upstairs/downstairs, inside and outside) replaced and online in about 6 hours! Everyone was professional, courteous, and focused. Due to the main gas supply having to be temporarily shut off, the crew chief made certain that our gas logs and gas water heater pilot lights were re-lit and functioning properly before leaving. The new units are working well and we are looking forward to the SEER savings on our energy bills. Exceptional service and reasonable prices - we've used this firm since 2012 and wouldn't use anyone else

There are good reasons Kuhn AC has so many high ratings, and Ed Kuhn demonstrated all of them to me: prompt response and assessment, a detailed comprehensive quote (with four options in my case), quick installation (a day earlier than he estimated), and friendly professionalism. He was generous with his knowledge and recommendations. And all this without ever meeting face-to-face — not his fault; I’m an out-of-state landlord. So trust was certainly important. He earned plenty. I give Kuhn AC “two thumbs up,” both of mine.

Ed Kuhn is fantastic! I called him on short notice based on the glowing reviews here. He came the next day and fixed us up. I have 20 year old units that he was able to repair inexpensively without replacing. Large HVAC companies normally say there's nothing they can do and suggest replacing the unit. Ed does not operate that way. Thank you for being honest!

In June 2017 we hired Kuhn to inspect two heat pumps on a recently purchased home. The technician said both units were in order and all they required was R410 freon and a tuneup. During an unseasonably warm stretch in February 2018 we noticed no conditioned air was coming out of our vents upstairs after our AC was turned on. After two inspections by different companies each technician discovered that one heat pump was a "frankenstein" heat pump. It had mismatched parts from different systems. This includes the compressor, which was actually designed for R22 freon rather than R410. The Kuhn technician apparently used the wrong type of freon. The introduction of incorrect freon added instability to the unit, which has now completely failed. We now need to replace the entire heat pump. We are not blaming the "frankenstein" nature of the mismatched parts on Kuhn, of course. However, it seems apparent to us after getting two additional opinions that the mismatched nature of the unit was obvious, and the freon used was incorrect, my wife and I believe our story must be added to Kuhn's history on Angie's list. We payed for an inspection that appears to have not caught obvious problems in our system, and a mistake by a Kuhn technician seems to have compounded the issue. We would not use Kuhn again or recommend them.

The tech from Kuhn showed up first and fixed the problem within 5 minutes. But we thinking charging $190 (including the service call) to replace 1 broken capacitor was too high. Most capacitor costs less than $10 online.

He was a tremendous help!

Ed came out and looked at the entire house and HVAC system. He suggested replacing the old unit, closing off all the downstairs registers to direct airflow upstairs only, and installing 2 mini-splits to heat and cool the two main downstairs rooms. His price was significantly less than the competitions', he spent lots of time figuring out the best, least obtrusive way to connect the mini-splits to the breaker box, his crew was thoroughly professional, and Ed took the time to address all my questions and concerns.

He is great. I have used him several times, he is great. Yes, I would use him again.

Mr Kuhn said it compromised the entire system so he replaced it at his expense. The most honest man in the world.

Kahn Checked the Freon charge and determined it did not need charging, continued to look for the problem and checked the motor capacitor and found it to be faulty, replaced the faulty capacitor and stayed around long enough to make sure the unit was cooling effectively. Kahn called a couple days later to check that the unit was operating to my satisfaction.

I found Kuhn on Angie's List and called this morning. Ed showed up by 11 and was done by 12:30. Turned out to be a relatively minor repair. The house is already cool again. Big thanks to Ed for coming out so quickly and getting it taken care of for us!

So responsive. They reviewed the inspection report and were incredibly responsive. Heard from both father and son. In the end, no work was even needed! Their feedback helped to have a good discussion with the Buyer. Really wonderful dealing with them!
