Before the work was done I contacted the owner and specifically asked if the materials used to do the cleaning would injure the plants, shrubbery, and grass around the house. I was advised that it was a mild solution that is thoroughly rinsed off and would not affect them. The plants and shrubbery do not appear to be affected, but the grass was. Several days later I, and my neighbors, noticed that just about every place where the cleaning hoses were placed throughout the lawn areas the grass had been killed. In addition, apparently when they removed the hose-end wands they laid or allowed them to drain on the grass and completely killed a 2x4 foot area of grass. I believe they may have used a cleaning product with bleach in it as my wife noticed an odor of bleach as they were cleaning. Overall the cleaning of the house and walks was good, but I would not use the provider again.
I sent an email to the owner, using his website, but have not heard back.
