HE Parmer came in, evaluated the gutters and gave us a permanent solution to keep the old gutters up.  They repaired and reinstalled the gutters in less than 2 hours.  They were punctual, professional and did a great job. 

sFrom the very beginning, Paul was helpful, and responded quickly to all our questions and concerns.  He went the extra mile to find the discontinued Camelot shingles we wanted.  He always showed up when he said he would, on time.  The crew always showed up on time and worked well into darkness to get the job done.  They followed up to make sure we were completely satisfied with the job, and made sure we had a few bundles of our shingles to keep on hand since they are a discontinued style. They hand hammered every nail, installed step flashing, and installed the flashing into the mortar joints around our chimney, then soldered and caulked to seal out water. All in all, they provided exceptional service and quality work. We chose them based on their longevity and reputation, not to mention their certification as a GAF master elite contractor, BBB member since 1961 and their membership in roofing associations. We had gotten quotes from two other companies as one should, and H.E. Parmer stood out above the rest. They exceeded our expectations all around.

Answered in above question. I will say I have used them over many years and the quality from the receptionist to the finishing touches... their quality of work has remained steady through the years.

Provider came out after we sustained heavy overhead damage in the rains that resulted in the flood of 2010.  We had a two or three year old roof at the time that we had had many many service calls for leaking, without good result from another company. We were very frustrated and did not want to call Barrett back. (They always sent people out, but the problems were never really addressed )  Provider came out and brought another co-worker and together they went over my roof with a fine tooth comb, took pictures and explained exactly what  had been done improperly, what it would take to make it right.
We had to wait a while for an appointment, but  I am so happy we did. Other roofers refused to warrant any work unless we let them put on a whole new roof.
Parmer redid sections and flashing and and assorted other parts of the roof. It has been three years and not one leak since!  I tell everybody I can how happy I was with the work.  I probably won't ever let anybody touch my roof from here on.
The work was a smidge over  $1500 and, I thought, VERY reasonable.

Excellent. Guy came out the next day and did an estimate of the damages and what it would cost to repair it. The crew showed up the next and completed  all the work that same day.

They did a good job, cleaned up and we were very pleased with them. I didn't interact with them a whole lot because they said they were going to and they did the job.

I think the quality of their work has deteriorated over a period of time. One of the things I don't like about the company is that now they have a trick where they just have them come out whether the work is under warranty or not and charge $149 just to come out to your home which I think is fairly abrasive. I'm going to use them because I have a warranty on that one roof but I'd rather not use them though because I don't think their decision making is good, plus, their prices were really high. On that flat roof, there was a choice of three different thicknesses of membrane that could have been put on and the person making the decision didn't even discuss it with me so I didn't know until I got the warranty papers and I've had an issue with leaking twice. They were punctual, and if I've got a problem they're out here very quickly.

The work was estimated to be complete in one week but turned out to be eight work days, primarily because of only having one qualified roofer with his three or four laborers for most of the job. The addition of another qualified roofer would have made the job go much quicker. The qualified roofer's work was very good though. Two days of rain also slowed the job, but those lost days are not included in the eight work days. The workers also had to stop midday because of the extreme heat and that was acknowledged in the bid. There was damage done by the laborers to the gutters on the home as they took bundles of shingles up the ladder to the roof, but the cost of new gutters was deducted from the final bill. The was no communication between the management team and the customer throughout the job, except when the customer called the company to make comments. There were no on-site visits to the job site by management representatives.
