I had gold jewelry with diamonds in it and I went to several places. I found green hills gold and diamond buyers and I got the best offer from all the places in nashville. The other places all offered me about $4,000  but they offered me $5,300. They were very professional. I recommend this place and will be back!

After Graduating college my family gave me a IWC watch. I really loved it however I needed money to buy an engagement ring. I had always heard that watches didnt retain their value. Boy was I wrong. This place walked me through the process of determining the value and also informed me that many high end brands like Rolex, IWC and Tag etc not only held value but this place actually buya tons of these watches. Who knew? So I needed at least $3000 to factor onto my budget so I could buy ring. They offered me $3200. I was amazed, it was no haggle like at the pawn shops and no low ball as I had experienced before. Good place to sell you're stuff. 

On top of all of that I set for over an hour discussing the right diamond foe my ring I was going to buy. I'm seriously considering using them for that as well.

A close friend recommended Global Gold & Silver as being an excellent company where I could dispose of some jewelry namely a ring that I had from a broken off engagement (we wont talk about that). Sometimes it is difficult to find a good place where one feels safe and comfortable. City Diamond Exchange was all that and more. David is of CEO of this company and he personally dealt with me because of my being new to the process. He made me feel comfortable and his office environment was corporate and the kind of place where I didn't feel uneasy. It was in Green Hills right by the Mall. Very upscale but not stuffy. I was offered a choice between Espresso, Water, or Pelligrino i think maybe Perrier when i arrived. Their offices were very secure as I had to be buzzed in, which maybe me feel safe with my valuables. I had some cheap gold stuff I had collected through the years which was worth about $200 if i scrapped it myself. David offered me $190 and openly told me that he would only make $10 on his end but the relationship and trust we could establish was more important. I was blown away. Now for my ring. I bought it 2 years ago and paid a little under $5000 for it. I called every place in Nashville and went to a few for them to check it out. The best offer I received for my efforts was $2300 essentially not even half. I was very upset and didn't understand the massive markup and how its virtually worthless now in comparison. City Diamond Exchange gave me $3700 for it. They explained that because they are a smaller company with less overhead they can offer more to their customers weather they are buying or selling their jewelry. This is certainly true. I would recommend City Diamond exchange highly to everyone.
