Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
Generally the transaction was OK. The salesman found diamonds that matched my heirloom in color, cut, and size. They created the new ring in less than 24 hours. The price for the new added diamonds was excellent, assuming the quality is really what the salesman claimed. The company's literature says you must have a certification for your diamond, and that all their diamonds come with a free certification; however when we picked up the ring there was no certification, and the people acted reluctant to provide one although it's all over their brochure and website that certification is crucial. They agreed to give an appraisal, which their brochure also says comes free with every diamond, but we have not received it yet. I can only get the certification if I send the ring away for up to 2 weeks. Still considering this. Overall we felt uneasy with their verbiage about the importance of certification but their apparent reluctance to provide one.
