Fred's HVAC

We had a special through Angie's list and scheduled Fred to come out and repair our Air Conditioner.  He was on time and got right to work.  He showed my husband that the inside of the air conditioner was really dirty and had a lot of debris and also that it did need Freon.  My husband approved the repair but after Fred began cleaning it up, he used our hose and got water on the circuit board and it stopped working.  He apologized and said that he would have to come back in the morning with a new board to replace it and he did.  First thing in the morning, he was there but then discovered that since the board dried out, it was working again, so no need for the new board.  After he finished we still noticed that it was not working correctly and he suggested we switch out the thermostat.  This was it and it began working correctly.  He charged us $320 dollars which seemed somewhat high but he was really a great guy and he did spend quite a bit of time with us.  After he left, we had a cool spell and my husband wanted me to switch the thermostat over to heat and it did not work.  We discovered that it would only work on the emergency heat setting.  We called Fred back and it took a few days for him to get back to us but he came and admitted that he installed the wrong type of thermostat.  He had installed a thermostat for a heat pump and we have a gas system.  He switched it out and all is well.  Really liked Fred and we understand that things happen.  We would use him again.

It went fine with the exception that after turning off the gas service, they did mention that, and subsequently they did not relight the hot water heater or the fireplace pilot light. Cold showers are not fun.

Fred & one of his associates came out to repair my HVAC unit that had been leaking water when I turned the A/C on. He was prompt, got the job done & very courteous. I would definitely hire him again for any future HVAC needs that may come up.

My unit was not getting cold and I called for a regular cleaning.  Fred's Hvac came out and repaired it right away.

I called my home warrant company that morning and received a call from Fred's Hvac within two hours. They fixed my unit the same day and he was so nice and courteous. I will use this company again if I have problems in the future.
