As usual, it broke down over the weekend, but they came on Monday, so considering that was a work day then I would consider that quickly. We’ve used them for over 20 years now.

It was installed 21 years ago and you can’t beat it. This house did not have central heat and air, we had an old coal furnace. So, they took out the old coal furnace and they put I gas heat and electrical. It’s a family owned business, so you basically deal with the owner or the owner’s son in this particular case. The owner retires and then passed away, but his son actually put it in 20 years ago and now he’s the owner and does the work.

We would definitely use them again if we needed them. They were very knowledgeable on how to do all of this. It was very involved. We haven't had any problems with it. It's a small company and they did a good job. They give fast service.  0

Foster is the sort of business that used to be more common in generations past – friendly, informal, reasonably priced and solidly reliable. I recommend them without hesitation, for working on old systems like ours, or any other service they offer.

They answered the phone when I called. They scheduled me quickly and at a time that was convenient for me. They arrived early for the appointment and wore shoe covers to enter my home. I've never had a repair person be concerned about leaving dirt on my floors before. It was nice that they were so considerate. They were professional, polite and thorough. They did exactly what I asked them to do and did not try to sell me anything I had not asked for. I will definitely use this company again.

We have used Foster Engineering for minor work as well as a complete system replacement and will use them for many years to come. This is a family owned business that treats their customers like family. I have received estimates on jobs from other larger HVAC companies and one job in particular comes to mind and three companies said that I needed to replace the entire unit and Scott came in a fixed it for $35 and the unit continued to run for three more years. They are professional, fair and know their stuff

Scott was doing the normal HVAC servicing. I expect that he cleaned the coils on the outside of the unit. He was also checking the inside of the unit. Sorry I cannot be more specific. I asked him (as I always do) how much longer my unit is going to last and he said hard to say - he's seen units last a year and has worked on units 40+ years old. He said everything is running fine. He has given me tips in the past about reversing the ceiling fan to send more heat down from the high ceiling in winter.
