FLC INC

I liked the design ideas and the finished work is beautiful. On the day of the job everything was exciting and the crew was doing well. Suddenly the finishing touches were put on a wall that was too short. I couldn't see the water feature on the other side of the hot tub. I insisted on it being finished to plan. A week later I received a bill for $500 more for "changing the design". I already had the rock, by the way. There were also some hidden charges for electrical that were considerably more than I would have incurred had I used my own electrician - but in the midst of the installation I opted out (without a quote - ow!). A larger pot which he said would cost $60 more turned into $100 plus $25 for the exchange. I paid for these. He says I "changed the plan", I say "I insisted on the original plan". That $500 I'm not paying. Very angry contractor - lots of demanding, threatening phone calls and emails. I would never use him again, despite the excellent work of his employees.

FLC came out the next day after I called and on time. The estimate given was slightly off but not a problem. FLC is very reliable and did a great job. I like the person they assigned for this job. I have already recommended FLC to a lot of other people.
