"Hello. And I declined Mrs Sial request. Mrs. Sial has hired me to repair her two exterior doors and paint kitchen door. Both doors were damaged by a break in. Upon inspection I told Mrs. Sial that only one side of both doors jambs and trim needed replacing. I also mentioned that just that section would need removed. Mrs Sial asked if I could paint the kitchen door and trim because she didn’t like the color. I said I would. I gave Mrs. Sial a verbal estimate of the cost of 600 dollars. I also explained that’s my charge for labor only and she would have to purchase the materials. The terms was agreed and she made a deposit to reserve a work date. 9/16/2025 at 10am . On that schedule date I called Mrs Sial and she was not available on scheduled time and told me she was at Lowe’s getting paint. Mrs Sial was over an hour late. Mrs Sial gave me a code to access her home to start the job. I txted Mrs Sial if she didn’t have the door jamb and trim that I would have to go get the nessary material’s. Mrs. Sial come to her residence with only 2 gallons of paint nothing else. No paint brush, rollers, painter tape, door jab or trim. So I asked Mrs. Sial which color she wanted the kitchen door to be. She said this is for the entire kitchen to be painted, I wanted you to pant with. I explained to Mrs. Sial the agreement was for the door repair and paint the kitchen door and trim. Also The agreement that she would have all the materials upon start of the scheduled date and time. Mrs. Sial asked me how much would that cost to paint all her kitchen. I gave her an est of 1200. Mrs. Sial would have to think about it. So after I notice she didn't have all the materials I needed . I went to Home Depot and paid for the materials and transportation to pickup her materials. I didn’t charge Mrs Sial for the delivery fee. I completed the door repair. And the next step was to paint her kitchen door but Mrs. Sial told me to not worry about it that when she got the kitchen painted she will have the door painted at the same time. Added note I also installed Mrs Sial two door sensor on the door with no extra charge. Mrs.Sial called me the next day stating the door sensor was not working. I told her I would try to fix it. I got the door senor to work. But I didn’t charge her for the extra labor that we didn’t agree upon. The intial agreement was for 600. But she asked since I didn’t paint could I reduce the labor cost . I gave her a 100 dollar discount. But I never asked for delivery fee or Installation of door sensors. Mrs.sial took advantage of small business owner. And shouldn’t be allowed to seek out contractors for handouts."
