I made the mistake of assuming that my local Firestone could handle the very simple task of replacing my low-beam headlamp bulb on the driver's side. Boy, was I wrong!

There were so many mishaps that it's hard to remember everything, but I'll try anyway:

I left my car overnight so that they could work on replacing the bulb first thing in the morning. I also needed them to straighten out my steering wheel since it was noticeably crooked after having them perform a "lifetime" alignment.

Called them in the afternoon the next day since I had not heard back, and it turns out that they totally forgot about my vehicle. Apparently an employee had a family emergency, which I completely understand, but handing my ticket over to another individual in this case is just common sense.

They call me the following day, telling me that the bulb had been fixed and that another alignment had been performed. After picking up the car and testing the lights, the driver's side low-beam is still out! Did they even test their work!?

I bring it back and explain the issue. It turns out they replaced the bulb on the wrong side. A few guys immediately walk out to my car and start "working" on it. I started watching them from the waiting room at this point, and I could see everything they did. The way that they gained access to my headlamp fixture was completely ridiculous. For my vehicle, you are supposed to change out bulbs from within the wheel-well, but they decided to go in through the top of the headlamp by unbolting things that weren't meant to be unbolted, and by pulling the light fixture apart in a way it was definitely not designed to do. I was basically cringing the whole time while watching these guys manhandle my car.

They come get me from the waiting room and tell me it's fixed. Fast-forward to that evening -- I now notice that the aiming of my driver's side headlamp is totally screwed up. It was pointed way too low, but the passenger's side looked pretty close to being right. I bring my car back after a few days and explain the issue. They ended up screwing with the aiming of the passenger's side headlamp, which was the good one! It was way too high now! And they completely left alone the driver's side headlamp, which was still pointed way too low. What is wrong with these people? Do they pay absolutely ZERO attention to detail?

I've completely given up on this Firestone location, and perhaps just Firestone as a whole at this point. I've tried to get the headlamps aimed correctly on my own, but they have apparently screwed up the housings so much that I don't think I'll ever get it like it was out of the factory again. Also, I'm fairly certain that the wrong bulbs were used for the low-beams on both sides. One is like a bright spotlight that must be a high-beam bulb, and the other is so dim that it does not help illuminate the road at all.
I also wanted to mention that my car is now missing a rubber mat type of piece that is meant to sit on top of the headlamp housing. I still have one on the driver's side, but apparently they just like to remove parts from their customers' cars and not replace them.

Thank you, Nolensville Firestone, for being a complete waste of time, and for totally screwing up both of my headlamps! They in no way deserve an "A" rating on Angie's List. What a joke!

They've always been very good to me and for the most part, give me fair prices. I like their prices. They always have times available. It's not hard to try to work around your schedule.

Alignment/rotation was free (previously paid for lifetime alignment). New tire was $10.93 (previously paid for road hazard insurance). Staff is very nice. Wait time is long sometimes. Service is good.

My husband's car wouldn't start. It was towed to Firestone because they were the closest service place. They put a lot of "upselling" items on the suggested service report, and it was expensive. We got the essentials done instead. Next day the "service engine immediately" sign came on. I was taking my car to another mechanic, so my husband brought his car along. The new mechanic examined his car and said that half of the things Firestone was supposed to do hadn't been done, and they hadn't replaced the seals which were leaking and causing the light to come on. So, we drove back to Firestone. They at least were responsive--completed the job that afternoon and also paid for the fee for the other mechanic.

Took my car here because they were open on Sunday and I had to have a timely repair. They strong-armed me into a ''package'' of oil change and tire rotation. Then they told me my front tires were too worn to rotate (the guy had a gleam in his eye - obviously gets paid by commission), but the price would still be the same because the tire rotation was free with the oil change (bull! Ever had anyone offer to rotate your tires free when you got your oil changed? Tire rotation is a lot more work). They tried to sell me tires for roughly twice what I later paid for them at another place. The worst thing was, after this I started loosing oil. I was scared I had an oil leak, but when I took it to another place, was told my oil drain pan cap was loose. So, not only did I not get my ''free'' tire rotation, I paid for an oil change that could have done severe damage to my car and gave me a terrible scare.
