Firestone Complete Auto Care

He has been fixing my cars for a long time. I would not take my cars anywhere else. I thought the price was great. I would say that they are great for non-manufactures warranty work. They are good with alignments and routine mechanical work.

I went in and asked for a quote to repair a door handle and was told that I needed to set an appointment to get a quote. I set the appointment and left. When I returned the following week, I was told that I needed to leave the vehicle for 4 hours to get the quote on the repair. Instead of leaving my car, I went out to my car and searched YouTube on my iPhone to find a video about how to fix my car. I discovered that it was such a simple fix that I left Firestone and went to Autozone, bought the part, and repaired my own vehicle in their parking lot in less than 1 hour. The runaround of trying to get someone at Firestone to give me a quote on the repair actually took longer than finding a video online that showed me how to fix it, and then going to Autozone, buying the parts, borrowing the tools (which is a cool thing they do at Autozone), and fixing it myself. Not a good experience for me.

We brought our Toyota Camry in because the car pulsated when braking. We thought initially that all 4 rotators needed to be resurfaced but we got a call shortly after we dropped off our vehicle and they said only the front two needed it and we did not need brake pads, which we thought they might automatically replace even though these had been replaced less than a year ago. We were so impressed that they didn't try and sell us things we didn't need. They did recommend a coolant flush which we went ahead and had done since it had been several years since this had been done. We received a call near the time that they said the vehicle was to be ready letting us know we could pick it up. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. We definitely intend to use this Firestone for future automotive services.

I had an appointment to replace my front brakes. The brakes were making noise and I expected them to be replaced. The tech checked them and informed me of rust on the brake rotors, He told the brakes were perfect and I need to drive the car more. Problem solved without a charge.

My experience with them was great. They helped us out really well and took care all of our needs. The people were fantastic. Gordon was very helpful.

The work Firestone Complete Auto did for me made a difference in my car mileage. I took a trip right after that and the gas mileage per gallon is back up. It's much, much better. They've always been very fair and thorough. They always give you a courteous check that tells you how the thread on your tires is and so forth and so on. It's not just to sell you things. It's just so you can know of the situation and monitor it. I've had lifetime front end alignment services contracts with them on the last two cars I've had. That was very helpful. Then, when you bring it in for anything, they always go ahead and check your front end. You pay $100.00 for the life of the car. They're extremely busy. I had brought my car in but they weren't going to be able to work on it that day, so he told me to call them and make an appointment for the next day or so.

I didn't have the repair performed as they tried to include a $99.00 diagnostic fee when I already knew what the issue was. This charge would have been assessed regardless.

I typically stay away from chain auto shops and should have followed my gut but I'm new to Nashville and asked a guy at AutoZone for a recommendation (will not do that again). Firestone conducted a “computer diagnostic” for which I was charged over a hundred dollars for. When I went to pick up the car I was promptly charged for their service and received nothing in return other than a burnt out fuse along with my receipt. I did not get any type of report or consultation, in fact they were to busy to talk to me other than to take my money and get my car out of their lot. The problem for which I brought the car to them was not found, fixed, or acknowledged when I picked the car up. The staff was not very friendly and the experience left me feeling like I had been taken advantage of if not worse.

Upon arrival at this location, I waited for about 5 minutes and then a very nice man helped me with the appointment. I had made the appointment online and he couldn't find it and he profusely apologized. We established the work order and he agreed to call if the car needed it's alignment fixed. When he called later in the afternoon, he informed me that my car did indeed need aligning but it was very minor. I asked if it was crucial that I have it fixed today and he said no but I would want to make sure that I did it soon. He also said that they didn't have the original tires we had agreed upon and so he gave me an upgrade at no charge from 40K warranty to a 70K warranty. Upon arrival, my car was ready and waiting. Another gentleman who invoiced me (not the original person) although prompt, was not friendly. The original gentleman was in the area and asked if I had any questions and reminded me of the warranty on the tires and suggested I have them rotated after 5000 miles.
