Ok. Expected lace dress to be reduced from the wait but it was cut at bottom to hem.

Went in there. Young lady was nice. Help getting me in and out. however, when she mentioned price just to hem a dress ($40) and shorten suit hem and sleeve for $76. That's more than I paid for the two outfits. I won't be going back because of the price.

Perfectly. They were cordial and friendly while I was getting it fitted. It was done within a couple days and the price was well warranted.

First, the people are very nice and friendly, so it pains me a bit to write a less-than-positive review.
I needed to have alterations done for a a new sport coat and chose Ericka's based on Angie's List reviews. They were very friendly and committed to performing the alterations within a few days.
I picked the jacket up from Ericka's and was a little miffed at the price: almost $70 for a couple of rather basic alterations seemed steep. In any event, I brought it home and tried it on. Uh oh... The alterations made the jacket fit worse than before, and one of the seams looked sloppy. The biggest problem was that there was a large bulge on my back between my shoulder blades. That, and the jacket now "rippled" along the seam in the center.
This is/was the most expensive jacket I own and so I wasn't comfortable bringing it back & allowing them to try again. I took the jacket back to the place I bought it (in Little Rock) and they fixed it on the 1st try and for free. For what it's worth, they were less than impressed by Ericka's work.

I just moved to the area and had a hard time finding someone who did alterations at a good price. I found Erickas Tailoring here on angies list and within an hour she had me taken care of. Will be going back!

Over joyed with the work. They did exactly as asked and even pressed the fabric. Dropped off on Wednesday and picked up Friday morning. Very nice and great work.

Let me just make it clear that they did a great job. Unfortunately, the quality workmanship was negated by practically everything else.
In the first week of July, I brought 2 large freshly washed doggie bed cases in to have made into small versions of themselves using only the original material and zippers. While explaining this to the, the 2 ladies began conversing between themselves in another language (what that language was is irrelevant). While I love foreign languages (I speak a little Arabic, Farsi, Russian and Italian), I believe it shows disrespect when diverting from the lingua franca in front of an obviously non-fluent customer. I felt very awkward and wondered if they truly understood my wishes.
When they informed me that it might take at least a couple weeks to complete the work, they were relieved when I told them not to worry and that I'd be back at month's end to to pick the pillow cases up. One month later I returned to find the work was not completed. I came back one week later and found them completed.
Then I got the bill. Two doggie bed pillows reduced in size. All original materials to be used. No fancy pattern cutting or ornate bead or lace work. Cost: $86.00. The woman (Erica, perhaps?) pointed out several times that not only was the lady who did the work is highly allergic to dogs (they KNEW these were doggie beds), but that she was giving me a special deal (seriously? $86.00 is a deal?) because the lady who did the work originally wanted to charge me $120.00. I' not sure if she was attempting a guilt trip by doing this. While the deal offer was nice, I couldn't help but feel overcharged/penalized for her unfortunate allergy. She knew when she accept this project and these were doggie beds. I would expect her to either politely decline job due to health concerns (I would've totally understood and thanked her for telling me so her health wouldn't be jeopardized), or have someone who is allergy-free complete the work.
In hindsight, perhaps I should've asked for a quote first. But then I never imagined all the trouble my simple request would cause.
In conclusion, while ERICA's did a great job, unless POWERBALL is in my future, I will look elsewhere to have alterations done.

She is excellent. She did the work the same day. They actually have clients that drive 3-4 hours to get there; she is that good! She did an excellent job!

Good. The store is small which puts the dressing rooms between the lobby area and the work room. Alterations are marked in the lobby area, but if you are more modest, Margie will meet you outside the dressing room.

I called Ericka On Tuesday and my Wedding was on Saturday. I did not think I would need any alterations until I tried on the dress again and had lost weight. I called Ericka frantic, but she assured me that I could come in and she would get the job done. She was a one woman show at the time but was so calm and collected that it made me know that I was in good hands. I tried on the dress and she pinned my size in store. She noticed I was pulling on the bust and suggested that I also bring this in. She told me to come back on Friday to pick up the dress. I was a little nervous because my wedding was the next day, but I generally don't stress too much and Ericka made me feel as if I had nothing to worry about. When I came in on Friday, the dress was ready. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a fancy tailoring shop, this may not be for you. I tried on the dress and she pinned me with other customers looking on. If you are a no frills person that loves quality and supports small business... Ericka is the way to go!

I found this provider on Angies list after deciding not to pay the high price that my bridal shop where I bought my dress had quoted me. I took the dress is, she was quick in measuring. She told me I could come back in 3 days, because of my work schedule I went back in 4 days. I had my second fiting a few adjustments had to be made and I went back in 1 1/2 hours and it was ready! The work was done very well. The price was $100 cheaper than the bridal shop and the dress was ready a week quicker than the bridal shop had promised. My bridesmaids will have their alterations done at Erikas!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE! We just moved to Nashville. I had a brand new Dolce Gabana suit I'd purchased in Florence, Italy. It was very expensive, and I didn't want to trust it to just anyone. That's why I'd checked Angie's List. I drove 17 miles through the pouring rain to get to her, and it was worth every bit of effort. Margie and her husband run the place. She had done fittings for years at high-end shops. Now she has her own place. There's no sense in going anywhere else. You save money, you get it done quickly, and the quality can't be beat. I would highly recommend her.

Ericka's Tailoring really saved me. I had to fly home for a wedding for which I was a bridesmaid. The dress had arrived at my house nearly three weeks before I was set to fly out, but thinking it would fit, I hadn't tried it on. I tried it on at about 10 AM and had an 8 PM flight. It was at least three sizes too big. I was, as you can imagine, incredibly worried that I was going to make one of my best friends very angry with me due to my negligence. I called Ericka's in a panic and they said they'd be able to do a same-day alteration. I went in and was fitted, and left and came back about two hours later. It was done, and done perfectly, and the price was incredibly reasonable. I couldn't believe my luck. And I can't thank Ericka's enough for saving me from putting an ugly little note onto a good friend's wedding by my looking like I was wearing a Hefty bag. Thank you Ericka's! They're obviously my go-to place for alterations now.
