All my appointments have gone really well. The staff is very professional and Dr. Dillard explains everything she's going to do in detail and seems very experienced.

I did not like her. My friend recently went to her thinking I had referred her. She is pregnant and she never used those machine to scan the teeth. She made her do that. She went to her because she had a root canal and then she went to a specialist. They covered her 3 times and she asked why they were covering her. When I went to her, she was in and out which was convenient. She was just too quick and she did procedures on me. I kept coming back for the same thing. I wouldn't say that she was that great. If I want somebody quick, that's pretty good. I just didn't really like it. She was absolutely nice. She did something on my teeth and then it turned out to be a cavity 2 months later. I was think how there is a cavity now when there wasn't when she checked me 2 months ago. I didn't feel like she was thorough and they didn't really take their time with their medicine. Her availability was perfect. Her bedside manner was good. The billing was great.

It ended with my asking them to bill me the 35$ charge and asked that they not call me again, since by this point they had called me three times. I have no problem with paying a cancellation fee, but having not been there in such a long time, I was not reminded of the fee-had I been reminded when I made the appt., then I would have paid the fee.

In October 2012, the cleaning I had done was awesome. It was definitely one of the best I have had and I originally gave this review an A. My hygienist was very gentle but effective. She made suggestions about my flossing and brushing to help keep my teeth clean in the future. She was friendly but professional. My exam went very well and Dr. Dillard listened to my comments about my teeth. She outlined areas where I needed to have additional work done. When I went to schedule the work, I found out that my new insurance did not cover some of this work. The business manager, Will, was very helpful in talking with the insurance company. So, before having any more work done at Dr. Dillard's, I am going to have to make a change in my insurance. Overall, it was a very pleasant and professional experience.

In December of 2012 after making an insurance change, i had some of the work done that Dr. Dillard had recommended. it was for a replacement crown on one tooth and a partial filling of a tooth next to it. I was very disappointed. The crown did not fit properly with large gaps on both sides of the tooth and my gums were very irritated and raw. During the procedure, the dental assistant stepped out for a few minutes while the crown's glue was drying and came back wreaking of cigarette smoke. The solution recommended for the poor fitting crown was to just make a bigger filling with the tooth next to it. Of course, that left the other side with a large gap as well. I thought I had better get a second opinion which I did. The other dentist told me that there was still decay under the crown and that it really needed to be replaced. Having a larger filling on the one tooth was not a recommended solution by this dentist.

After contacting Dr. Dillard's office about this, I asked for a refund of my monies and I explained that I was going to have the other dentist complete the work. I did receive a partial reimbursement and my teeth have been fixed by the other dentist to my complete satisfaction..

I think that the checkups and hygentist services here are good but I do not recommend Dr. Dillard for crowns and fillings. And I did not find the dental assistants manner to be that professional.

Overall, I would rate my dealings with Dr. Dillard and her staff as about as positive as any time spent in a dentist's office has been in my life. The entire staff is made up of competent people with pleasant personalities, who also happen to be attractive females.

It's been excellent. I give her an A on everything.
