WORST Moving Company: I have moved over 20 times in my life. I have never had such a bad experience as I had with this company. DO NOT HIRE THEM for your move! They bait and switch, they lie, they do not do what they say they are going to do. They overcharge by delaying the move. Voyles did not send the 2 trucks that he said he would; no piano mover guy was sent, and no piano board for the baby grand piano, which all had been discussed at our house. The manager, Grajewski, when I contacted him about it, acted very much like a big jerk, by stopping the moving, for up to 2 hours, and demanding that I pre-pay $1,300.00 for the move. I have never pre-paid for a move! That is unheard of. He demanded $400 more than the estimate. Then, he kept threatening that the first truckload full of my belongings would be returned to his office. The move was thus dragged out by 2 hours, paying by the hour. And, with all my worldly possessions packed up, they took full advantage of the situation. Voyles stated that day that there would be no charges for travel time between houses (30 minutes= $75); he did not honor his verbal statement. Voyles stated that before the charges would be put on, we would discuss it, and agree to the amount to be charged. That did not happen: he wouldn't answer his phone that day, and the company put the overcharges on my card. The company lied and breached our agreement. The movers put the baby grand piano back together wrong, and it does not work. Due to the ruckus created by Voyles and Grajewski, I did not get to finish packing. The next day, my husband & I were so exhausted that I felt sick, that it took me 12 hours the next day to move the remainder of my possessions. The company falsely charged for the 2 hours they wasted, and should have credited us since they cause it to spill over to the next day. Moving is very stressful, and no one should be treated this way. The company is probably not locally owned; Angie's List exists due to these types of businesses. Do not contact Covan/Coleman Allied/Coleman American Moving, as they are shysters. UPDATE: Right after we moved in, our mailbox was vandalized. Someone took a mallet and whacked the large mailbox stand. Just recently, Covan answered our BBB complaint with another set of lies. I responded as such. In the last 2 weeks, our front iron gate has been whacked with a mallet until 8 of the long iron bars are bent completely out of shape into right angles. The timing is indicative of this company. This is the only individual who would do something like this to our property. Grajewski is a thug.
Description of Work: Local moving, 2 miles away, medium sized household This was a horrible moving experience to deal with unscrupulous people. Don't ever find service providers out of the phone book. The company answered none of my phone calls or this report. They know that most people do not get information about them before moving. They lie to get your business, and do not do what they say they'll do.

Coleman American movers was supposed to move us on a certain day and didn't show up. We had already sold our house and had to move. They decided to come on a Sunday instead. They even broke some of our furniture and still haven't made things right.
