Carpet & Duct Pros

I purchased a Groupon for this back in the summer, but there is a long waiting list to get in to them. I finally got my appointment in December. The gentleman were originally on time, but do to mechanical issues with their cleaner, they were delayed about an hour & a half to perform the work. No issue there, I was home all afternoon. My biggest issue is with the pricing. I paid $59 for  an online Groupon which covered up to 500 sq ft. My first question was to see if I could exchange the extra sq feet that I was not utilizing for my couch. Keep in mind, of my 250 sq feet rooms, I have large furniture in them, which I was not moving. This left only about 125 sq ft of the 500 I bought used. I was promptly told no, this was not an option. It uses completely different equipment to clean a couch. There were also up charges for every turn- "your carpet's considered soiled- extra $37", "the special disinfectant we recommend is $25", "we can clean your couch for $90". By the time they left I had a bill for $172 on top of the additional $59 I paid for the Groupon. It wasn't until after they were gone that I realized they had not cleaned my ottoman, that by all purposes, is part of the couch. At this point I was furious. I called the owner, who was out of town for the holidays. I was told that an ottoman was not part of the couch & that he could get them back out to our house later & could work out a rate. So even after all of this I was STILL going to owe them more money. I expressed my frustration & was told that they have a $25/room flat rate for returns. Although this sounds tempting, I will never utilize them again. I can not in good conscious give any more money to the people that refused to make any of this situation better.

I rate their services poor. We had them scheduled to do duct cleaning for 2 months and they didn't show. Said they called (found out later from a blocked number) and since we didn't answer they didn't show. We rescheduled and wished we had not. They were like bulls in a china shop. Laying tools and tool boxes on hardwood floors, dragging hoses against your furniture, baseboards and even layed a drill on a very expensive bed spread.  Also, indicated the "Cleaning deal" included vents but not the returns. This made no sense, it was like cleaning half the system.  It was a very good price but I think we got what we paid for....
