This morning the deadbolt lock on our front door broke. After checking Angie's List reviews AND the company's website, I called a few minutes after nine AM. We thought we'd need a completely new lock, but by 2 PM the deadbolt—all that was needed—had been replaced, the lock worked, and we'd acquired a permanent "go-to" person if we ever have any other locksmith needs. (Carlos commented that he'd rather repair than replace, unless he can NOT repair.) All this on the Saturday before Labor Day.

Carlos is awesome. He arranged to come right after our home closing. We were leaving town right after. Gave us six keys and offered to come back after all the workmen were done because I had to give them keys. Clean cut and professional.

The work was completed quickly and adequately. I gave the service an overall rating of A despite the B rating of quality. If I could have given a more nuanced overall rating, it would have been B+ or maybe A-. The problem is that locks are not well-aligned with the doorframes. It is always necessary to adjust position of door when locking them.

Carlos was on time, professional & explained the work he was doing. He didn't like the slide bolt thingy on one of my doors, so he changed it for free. He also pointed out some wood damage from water that he noticed on my door & advised me to fix it to prevent further damage. He told me the price when I made the appointment & then charged me less when he arrived because one door had a different type lock. I felt his price was very reasonable. I will definitely call him again if I need a locksmith!
