The experience with Bradford Hardwood was a great one. They provided great service and were very professional. My husband and I were very pleased with the end result of the floors. We would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. They are great folks to do business with.

I had a wonderful experience with them from start to finish. Bobbie takes your information, then her husband calls you and sets up an onsite visit. He's a really nice man - he'll tell you everything you want to know about your floors, and not make you feel like he's trying to sell you the most expensive option. We then scheduled a crew to sand and refinish the entire top floor - had severe wear in back bedrooms and right outside the bathroom, as well as red marker spots from the previous owners' children. These floors are dating back to the 50's. The crew of 3 showed up right on time, and even helped move out my office desk and living room chair that I couldn't move on my own. They got started right away and two and a half days later, were laying down the finish. I am EXTREMELY THRILLED with the result. My floors look better than new, and they did the most amazing job for me and my new home. If there was only one downside, there was some residual wood dust in the kitchen, even though they taped everything. In hindsight, I would have laid down plastic over everything as well as the plastic wall they put up. Would definitely use and recommend their services!

Mr. Bradford came to our house and gave us an estimate. He was very clear that he had been in the business for many years and they were the best in all of Nashville. He seemed very knowledgeable so we chose him out of two contractors we met that day. He promised us that our scratches would be taken care of and the thick coats (two--not one) HE and his crew would apply by hand would not chip with our dogs. Not only does the floor look as if nothing was done--all the scratches are still VERY visible and a week later the varnish was chipping. He did not come to the job as he promised and he applied one coat as opposed to the two he had estimated.

After purchasing our first home, we decided to have Jerry from Bradford Hardwood come assess our floors to see if they needed added protection against our two young children. He recommended giving them a good solid coat of polyurethane. We didn't think of doing this until shortly before we were to move in, but Jerry was able to schedule us right away so there would be sufficient time for the floors to dry before putting furniture on them. His guys were delayed in coming on the scheduled day due to some work on another job that needed to be finished, but they were still able to complete the job in one afternoon. They contacted me early in the morning to let me know of the delay and kept me apprised of their expected arrival time. I had to leave the house before the work was completed, but they finished up and locked the door behind them. In addition to the buffing and coating, they also removed some carpet tacking that had been left behind in one of our children's closet. I rated the price as a "B" (good) because I didn't get any comparison prices due to the short time frame we had. Bradford Hardwood was recommended to us by friends of ours, and we weren't disappointed. We certainly could see the improvement in the look of the floors even though they already looked pretty good. Several friends who helped us move, and even our handyman, commented on how nice the floors looked.

The dust was so bad we had an emergency evacuation of myself and two dogs. We were unable to breath. The finished floors have bumps all over them and they stated they could not improve the finish. Also, they walked off the job without completing the stairs, main entrance to our home. Computer equipment ruined, HVAC system impaired, all duct work must be cleaned. All furniture and all possessions have to be cleaned. Since they left we have had two other hardwood flooring companies examine the floors and each stated the reason for the bumps was that Bradford put two coats of finish over dust and ''junk''. The experience with Bradford was a total nightmare. They trashed our house and everything in it. Finally, multiple calls to Bradford went unanswered. He stated he would supervise the project but never returned to our home after the selling was done. He has refused to even look at the finished product claiming they have never had a bad job. We have contacted an attorney.
