We recently moved into our home and wanted to have about 2/3 of the 3500 sqft home painted. Blue Sky had come up on our neighborhood message board so we decided to call for a quote. Joe was very responsive and set up a time to provide a quote within a few days. The quote was detailed, included everything (paint, supplies, etc) and was under other quotes we received. Once scheduled, Joe and his crew showed up early and worked quickly, finishing in just under two days. They took care of everything, we didn't have to do any prep work, furniture moving, or fixture removal. We could not be happier with the results! The attention to detail was impressive and the quality of the work was outstanding. We can't wait to use Blue Sky for the rest of our house! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

They completed the 4,500 sf house within 3 days with multiple colors, including the pantry and built-in shelves and have missed only 1 rod in one of the smaller closets, which could easily be overlooked by anyone. Even we ourselves missed that during final walk-through, so we can't blame it on them. The overall quality of the work is good or good+. When pricing is factored into the account, the value is excellent for the money. No regrets, 2nd thoughts whatsoever on our part even 2 weeks later, when this review is written and submitted for review.

The job Joe and his crew did on our home was absolutely fantastic! We could not be more pleased with the finished product.
Joe was on vacation when I called to set up an estimate appointment but returned my call promptly advising he would be in touch as soon as he was back in town....which he did. We "clicked" with Joe right away when we met for the quote. He is professional, knowledgeable, witty and very easy to talk to.  Joe respects and  treats his employees well and it shows in their work. They were polite, respectful and on time every day; they were careful with our furnishings, art, etc. and cleaned up at the end of each day. We never thought twice about leaving any of them in our home alone. When the painting was complete everything was returned to its proper place. They completed the entire job (2500 sq ft) in 3 days and were very prompt in doing a few "touch-ups" a few days later. Everything turned out beautiful-- we get so many compliments on the paint when people come over.  Joe will not be satisfied until you are satisfied. He stands behind his work 100%. He should be (I know he is) proud of the company he has created and his team of guys. I would recommend Blue Sky Painting Company to anyone/everyone. We are happy to call him a friend now.

I've been raving my experience with Blue Sky since the first day Joe and his team started painting. From the initial quote to through the very last day of painting. Joe treated me with the utmost professionalism and respect. Joe took care to explain the process to me and answer my questions which meant a lot to me. His rates were very reasonable to other quotes I received. The level of detail and service were outstanding. They covered my furniture with care and made sure to replace everything that they had moved to access the wall. They respectfully worked around my schedule. There are not many people I would trust with the key to my house, but Joe earned that trust and more. The paint job was fantastic. Everybody that comes to the house now comments on how better the space looks. This was a hands down exceptional experience. I would give Joe and his team my strongest recommendation. You won't regret it.

The experience was wonderful! I met Joe in August 2015 about a week after I bought my West End Condo. Joe was on time for our appointment. I showed him the interior of my new condo that needed to be entirely painted, in order to co-ordinate with my carpets and draperies in storage. Also, there were a number of scuff marks on the walls of the condo closets since the previous owners moved. Joe sent me an estimate for the work, and gave me an approximate date of two months wait to begin the painting. I agreed and asked Joe to keep me in mind for the first opportunity he had in October to start painting. I was delighted to hear from Joe, unexpectedly, on 9/30, that he had to postpone another project due to rainy weather, and could begin painting my condo October 1st. I agreed to meet Joe the next morning at my condo and review the paint colors I knew I needed to co-ordinate with carpets and draperies in storage. I apologized for the fact that I had not yet cleaned my condo since the carpenter left two weeks earlier, due to a very busy schedule. Joe assured me there was no problem because he and his crew would need to sand walls anyway before painting. I just visited my condo this afternoon, Sunday, for the first time since Joe finished painting Friday afternoon. The condo looks beautiful, as Joe has emailed me.

Our interior designer, Star Moberg of Siimply Star Designs, recommended Blue Sky Painting to us.  After reading many wonderful reviews on Angie's list, I requested a quote and Mr. Johnson called me right away!  He accomodated our schedule and came out to give us a quote for interior painting of five rooms.  The next morning we had our quote!  We were pleasantly surprised in comparison to another quote we received which was quite high.  The quote from Blue Sky was itemized, detailed and very reasonable.  Within a few days we scheduled Blue Sky Painting and they came to our home about a week later.  On the day of service they were right on time and Joe and his team went to work immediately!  It was like watching a well-oiled machine. Everyone on the team knew their role in the process and worked beautifully together.  It was really amazing to watch.  Every member of the team was so professional, kind, and caring.  I felt like they respected me as well as my home and everything in it.  I couldn't believe that the team completed all five rooms in a day and they were beautifully, perfectly done!  They left everything neat and clean and in good order.  I am so proud of my home now.  My only regret is not calling them years ago!  I plan to call them soon for exterior painting.  I am recommending them to everyone.  Blue Sky Painting has earned a customer for life!!

They were phenomenal! I was amazed that they were done in one day. I've even had people stop at my house and ask who painted it. He used lifetime paint (wrapped in vinyl) and made all the ugly stuff disappear. He made us feel like every problem we had was no big deal.

Painting of trim work was fine, front door left brush marks in the paint.  Took awhile to replace and put up shutters, had to make a couple of calls to get that completed.

Mr. Johnson was very nice and professional. His team Chris and company did a very good job. They were very fast and efficient. They did the whole job in less than one full day. We would absolutely use them again and definitely recommend them.

Joe Johnson has to be the most professional contractor I have ever met.   I had quotes from three different pros and Joe was not the cheapest but, he is the only one that gave me a written proposal that outlined exactly what the project would consist of and the cost of each item.  I have a 104 yr old frame house that was in desperate need of help.  Some of the wood siding was rotting and the paint was peeling very badly.  It had become the neighborhood eyesore.  Joe had his team powerwash the entire house and even included the deck, picket fence and carport supporting wood posts.  Then they hand scraped the peeling paint and removed all of the storm windows.  I have a very large front porch and it was painted for no charge.  All of the paint used was top quality and has a lifetime guarantee.
The house has now been totally transformed.  It even looks a lot newer and I have received many compliments from neighbors and from friends on facebook where I posted pictures of the finished project.
What a relief to have found a contractor that I totally trusted and who gave me a beautiful "new" home.  Sometimes it really pays not to go by price alone but by the high standards employed by the professional.  I would recommend Blue Sky to everyone and would be willing to give any prospective client of theirs to come by and see my beautiful home.
