Craig's team completed my fence and deck staining project with personal attention and care. The results are beyond what I'd hoped for, and the neighbors talk about the results, too. An additional materials cost was needed, but Craig and team added in some minor repair work (screwing/nailing loose boards) as part of their quality control. I would hire them again.

Our fence repair turned into a replacement with the exception of a few boards in the frame. There was a small additional materials charge to replace the rotten wood but no extra charge for the additional labor. They were professional, on time and did a great job. Weâ ll be giving them more work soon.

I needed a railing to get down 2 steps while I am on crutches. The railing he built was beautiful but too big for me to grab confidently. He went back and reworked the design to make sure I could get in and out safely.

Craig is a focused - efficient worker who I hired from HomeAdvisor and he didn't disappoint. He did what he said he would do and missed nothing in his promises. I changed mid-stream about tearing down a privacy wall on our deck - rebuilding a railing with spindles and painting it. He did it flawlessly and it made such a difference to our deck. He completely weatherproof painted it and installed a great percola too. He's good! He gets it and does the work well! You won't be disappointed.

I believe Craig to be trustworthy and probably capable as a rough carpenter. However, his skills as a finish trim carpenter are poor and I surely would not recommend him for this type of work. My project included installing and finishing painted vertical trim and stained cap trim on perimeter CMU block and a couple of concrete steps. Also included was minor drywall patching, replacing an attic pull down the stair, and adjusting an interior door to clear. When I first met with Craig and we discussed my project, he described how he would do each item and sounded like he knew how to do the work. He even jumped right in and replaced a couple of pieces of wood base in a utility closet. I provided a written list of the items we discussed and taped it to a door. The interior door now closes nicely and the pull-down is securely mounted. However, the trim around the pull-down was cut poorly and the corners have gaps which he filled with caulk. The drywall patching was not done properly, nor was it completed. The trim on the CMU and steps were not stained or painted, nor was it completed. The stained trim was installed, puttied, and caulked before the wood was stained, which may make staining impossible. And to top it all, there are now a number of chips and little round holes in my new ceramic tile floor. Attempts to contact Craig to complete the work have not been responded to. And at this point, I will need to hire someone to not only complete the work but correct/repair the work which he did. I strongly suggest that you get references for the type of work that you need done. I cannot recommend Craig for any finish trim carpentry.
