Awful!! Where to start. Charged more than we agreed to verbally. Asked her associate NOT to move a very expensive large item without help but he did it anyway and broke the item. They apprised the item originally for $10,000. Employees ate lunches on the furniture to be sold and left their messes on the table half the day. Last day, Mrs Denton spent on the phone with att and made customers wait to check out. On the first day, she made crazy cheap deals and even let her client return an item which went home working that was now not functional. Tested prior. We had to make our own signs for parking and I had to invite people via Facebook and Craigslist since the crowd died down so much.

Extremely disappointed with this sale and how it was handled. In our opinion and after talking with several buyers that came by the sale, the items in the sale were exorbitantly priced, 2-3x higher than they should have been. They were priced so high that many people just left the sale. This resulted in many pieces of furniture, many antiques and other items that were not sold. When we arrived back to the house after the sale, it was a total mess. There was sale merchandise covering the floors which was left for us to pickup (I didn't expect everything to be neatly organized but this was a shocker). This company unlike other Estate Sale companies, do not arrange for donation of the remaining items, it is left up to you. There was so much leftover, we let 5 neighbors take whatever they wanted, then it took us 3 days and 9 trips to Goodwill and 2 trips to a consignment shop to get rid of the rest since there was no time left for a yard sale. The house keys were never returned to us. We had arranged for the old mattresses to be picked up for a fee from someone they contracted to do this service, when he was called for a pickup, we were told he really didn't want to pick up mattresses and that I should get a truck and haul them to the dump myself! I was really excited for this sale and now just feel sick to my stomach at the outcome.

"[member name removed], This letter is in response to the complaints you posted on Angie’s List. You stated buyers claimed prices were too high. The prices are all fair market value, and negotiable. The prices set are just a starting point to get you the most for your belongings. The buyers that you allude to were your neighbors who wanted to purchase your antiques and mid century pieces for $50 and less. It was my professional opinion that you could get more for those pieces, therefore we decided not to sell them for such a low value. Next I would like to address the issue of leaving a mess in the home. We neatly displayed the myriad of items that were pulled out of closets, cabinets, dressers, chests, and kitchen cabinets, on tables for customers to walk thru and easily see. We cannot guarantee that all items will sell at our sales. My employees packed up the rooms to best of their abilities in boxes, totes, baskets, and toy chests, etc. in every room before they left the home. As for providing a cleanup, our contract clearly states that we are not responsible for cleaning up after the sale, unless we are hired to do so for an additional fee. This clean up fee is in line with other estate sale company’s procedures. We gave you the name and number of a gentleman to aid in the clean up, however this man was not contracted by my company and therefore any dealings with him would not be our responsibility. Regarding the house keys, they were left at the home for you to pick up. I called to apprise you of this, but did not get a return phone call. This seems to be an unfortunate difference of expectations, as your estate sale was quite lucrative."

Berenice is the expert in the area doing estate sales. I met with her about a month before the sale at my parents house.
After that we set a date for a Friday and Saturday. On Monday of that week, her organizers came to the house and we
all worked all day. At one point there were 6 of her staff there working. They kept in touch with me the rest of the
week, so everything went smoothly on the sale days. I talked to many of her staff at different times and they were all
very nice and kind.
