When we realized that we had an animal problem, we were immediately overwhelmed with what course of action we should take. Angie's list highly rated Animal Pros. Immediately after calling the service department, we were contacted by Garrett Gregory. When I say immediately, I mean less than 2 minutes. Garrett was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt, professional and courteous. His knowledge was superior concerning the issue and within 30 minutes told us exactly what the problem was. He treated our home and dog with the utmost respect. He was always a simple phone call away and more than willing to answer any questions or concerns we had. Animal Pros not only trapped animals, they also fixed the issues and took preventative measures to avoid a reoccurrence. He made sure that the process went smoothly as possible so that our hectic daily routines were not impacted.

I had a problem with pigeons nesting under the eave of my 25' foot. I had tried using other animal removal companies before, but I had the hardest time getting any of them to come out to my house. I'm glad to say that my animal problems are now gone less than 48 hours after I called Animal Pros! I contacted the Animal Pros team in the afternoon and Adam was at my house the very next morning to investigate and come up with a plan. Adam was back the next morning to remove the birds, safely clean up their mess, and install a great looking patch for the roof eave to keep the birds from returning Thanks, Adam! You'll be the first person I call for any future animal problems.

The workers that came to our home all appeared courteous and professional. They worked expediently and delivered on their promises as listed in a signed contract. About 7 days later one skunk and two possums were caught in the traps. The contract was for 5 days but he gave me a couple of free days. Austyn was very knowledgable, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend.

Around 6pm on a Monday night we heard thrashing and animal growling coming from inside the basement wall of our house. Further investigation revealed there was an opossum holed up in there. Exploring the yard revealed a second possum that seemed to be trying to climb in with the first one. We called Animal Pros and they answered immediately, offering to come out that very night and remove the opossum. They confirmed over the phone that they would charge a flat rate for the visit regardless of how many animals they found, which got my attention right away because other animal removal companies often charge a base rate for coming out and additional charges per animal. I've heard of people paying $400 base rate and then $60 per animal, whereas Animal Pros were ready to come out and remove every creature they could find for $250. Austyn arrived within 20 minutes of our call - very impressive, especially late notice on a weeknight! He was professional and friendly, and made us feel we were in good hands right from the start. He quickly removed both opossums without causing any undue damage to the basement wall, then proceeded to discover and remove two other opossums who had been hiding in the same area but hadn't drawn attention to themselves by yowling or thumping around. FOUR OPOSSUMS. And he took less than 30 minutes to get them out! I can't express the sudden transformation from horror and chagrin when we discovered our basement was infested with opossums to relief and joy when they were instantly, cheaply, and professionally removed by hands-down one of the nicest, politest, most efficient home maintenance professionals I have ever encountered. If I ever have the tiniest bit of trouble with critters in future I'm calling Animal Pros ASAP, and I'll recommend them above all others to anyone with pest problems.

Chris Gentry and his team of guys are WONDERFUL!!! We discovered our skunk at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. Chris was at our house by 10:00 pm and stayed until 1:00 am!! There was NOT a charge for a late night, weekend call. He set up traps and did a quick enzyme treatment to make life bearable until they could come back and clean up the mess. When they did come back he discovered that he had over charged us and made up the difference!! This group is HONEST, RELIABLE, and they stand by their work!! Hopefully I won't need to call them again but if I do need help, Chris Gentry will be the first person I call!!!!

I called Animal Pros at 2:00 in a panic because I could hear squirrels running around in my attic. At first, he was going to schedule an appointment for the following day since there weren't many hours of daylight left. I think that the person at Animal Pros could hear how unnerved I was and managed to get a technician out that afternoon, which I really appreciated. He found where the squirrels had chewed through the wood and gotten into the attic. Kevin is the technician who came to the house, inspected everything, and gave me a proposal. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The guys who worked on my house to seal all gaps were also very professional. They worked for almost 12 hours on aluminum ladders in the freezing cold. Everyone whom I had contact with at Animal Pros was very professional. I would definitely use this company again, should the need arise.

Their cost was at least $100 - 200 less than the other services we contacted. They charged $50 a day for 5 days. You pay up front. They caught 2 squirrels but no skunks. Their business card says 24/7 but they closed the traps Friday night. When I called they said they don't work on weekends. They said they'd come back Monday morning and open the traps again. They did not show up on Monday or Tuesday so I called on Wednesday and said I am not counting the days you didn't have the traps opened in the 5 day time frame. They apologized and came over and reopened them. All together the traps were in the yard opened for about 7 days and they didn't charge for the 2 extra days. But they still didn't catch the skunk. They said that's the nature of the business. Sometimes you catch them and sometimes you don't.
Because they treated us fairly and actually gave us two extra days for free, I would probably use them again. Also because their price is so much less than their competition I'd use them again. It seems like a lot of money for not catching anything though. I might even buy my own cage next time ($40.00) and if I catch the skunk, see what they charge to come get it. Maybe I could save some money that way. By the way, the skunk seems to have moved on...keeping my fingers crossed...

I dealt with Tyler Blystone from beginning to end and had a five star service! Super friendly, on time, communicative through the entire process (including taking photos of where the birds were nesting & where they were entering) and completely thorough in fixing the problem and humanely removing the birds. I highly recommend this company and especially Tyler if you need any animals removed from your property.

They came to remove the skunk, they put a trap and catch a pasom. They closed the area from where the skunk was coming so it did not come. The workers were very nice to work with. They gave 2 year warranty of the work.

Animal Pros (Ryan) was very attentive when I first called. They came out within 24 hours, despite their very busy schedule. I have no idea if they did a thorough job assessing the damage in my crawl space (not going down there myself), but based on the prices that they charge, I am assuming that they left no pile of skunk poop unturned. The estimated cost to fix everything was nearly $10,000 and they wanted 50% up front. Much of the service is based on square footage and they measured the square footage themselves. Not sure how they calculate this- it's not very mathematical. There was no mention that I might want to contact my insurance company about this to inquire about coverage. They took pictures and wrote out a thorough assessment, emphasizing the extreme health hazard risks that the skunk poop and skunk spray posed to myself and my family. When I consulted a friend of mine (infectious disease physician)- he informed me that the "risks" were very, very exaggerated.
My insurance company held them accountable for the cost and the needed repairs. (My insurance company had a much lower square footage calculation as well.) Animal Pros and insurance company agreed on a payment but when services were rendered and I was writing out a check for the balance, Animal Pros (Ryan) tried to overcharge me. Showed him the math, the agreement, etc and he conceded.
Additionally, Animal Pros works with an HVAC company (Caputo) and called them to assess our damage after telling us that we needed a completely new HVAC system (even though that's not Animal Pros specialty). Caputo came out and told me that I needed a new system and that it would cost $6000. Insurance company says that Caputo has a reputation for doing this and had second HVAC company assess. Second HVAC company said that I only needed repairs, as did an environmental engineer from yet another company. Animal Pros and Caputo are definitely in cahoots.

Square Footage of your crawlspace is measured by our specialists on site from inside your crawlspace and outside your home. Your insurance adjuster who is in charge of your claim should visually inspect any problems on site. Working in the Wildlife Damage industry for over a decade and especially on numerous jobs with your adjuster, i can tell you, he never thoroughly evaluated your problem on site or in the crawlspace, which is normal, but will measure square footage off records, which is not always exactly correct or updated. In you particular situation with a breeched duct line, skunks and droppings, and urine in your duct line, we suggest your duct lines be replaced. We are not HVAC repair technicians, but are knowledgeable of EPA regulations in regards to Rodents or Vermin in a insulated Duct line, and by their standards, they suggest the lines be replaced and not cleaned. http://www.epa.gov/iaq/pubs/airduct.html#deciding Working with your adjuster many times previously, he has said he will fight covering duct line replacing. Why do we suggest that? The natural breakdown process that occurs outside is not present in a enclosed crawlspace or duct line. Moisture of urine or droppings in a duct line will form virus, bacteria, fungus, and mold. If the animal disturbs those droppings as they dry, tiny particulate will be filtered throughout your insulated duct line. At that point there is no amount of cleaning, no treatment, that can restore that duct line, except from replacing the line. This is not only from our recommendation but EPA recommendations as well. Any Environmental Engineer, Adjuster, or Hvac Service Tech, should be well aware of EPA regulations. But the fact is, they do not look at problems with a animal eye in mind. Health Hazards in relation to your duct lines are normally very slim chances, unless the animal is in a duct line, droppings are present, animal dander, and skunk spray is present. People react differently to particulates filtered into a living space, skunk spray, and animal dander, and can have a reaction to any of the above with a weaken immune system, children, or elderly. Reactions can range from Asthma, to Respiratory Issues, Allergies, and even zoonotic disease. Im sure your friend who is a infectious disease professional is very knowledgeable about infectious disease, but zoonotic disease in relation to wildlife is something we see, as the dangers are present. We had been living with an unholy stench coming out of the master bedroom closet for about two weeks. We took everything out of the closet and determined that whatever had died had done so either in the attic or in a wall. We called our pest control company and they came out and said they couldn't find anything and we would have to just wait it out. We called another wildlife/animal removal company and they didn't return the call. I finally found Ryan with Animal Pros. From the time I called until the time he and his partner had located the squirrel carcass in our attic and removed it was about three hours. I'm kicking myself for putting up with this for as long as we did.
The price for removing the dead squirrel -- $250 -- is worth every dime. The rest of the expense is for sealing up the attic to make sure this never happens again. It feels a little expensive, but I never again want to go through what we just did.

So this morning I discovered a possum under my bed. True. It apparently snuck in an open door the night before last and was under the bed ever since. I called Animal Pros early in the morning. Someone answered quickly and sent the message to Micah, who called me within a few minutes. They both told me up front how much it would cost. I had to get to work and was panicked anyway about having this critter in my house with three dogs and me, and asked if he could come soon. He was there within an hour, and had the possum caught shortly after that. There wasn't any fighting or fuss. He caught it peacefully and humanely, and put it in a cage. He offered to release it in my yard or said he could take it away to a field that they use, where it could live unharmed. Naturally I asked him to take it with him. Micah was patient and understanding with me; very nice and professional. I would highly recommend him and his company for this service and I will keep their number handy for the future. A-plus!!!!

Micah Evilcizer and Chris Stevens came out to my home after a frantic call from me. I woke up at 1 am with this awful smell inmy home and it got worse. It became so strong I was actually getting sick. Animal Pros sent Micah and Chris to investigate. They took their time looking to make sure they could find the enterance way and even went under my crawl space. They took pictures of markings the skunk had left. They placed 2 traps out and told me that is the door is closed they have him but for me NOT to touch the cage. (trust me I would not) Both of these guys were a hoot they made my horrible experience much easier to bare with their professionalism as well as the fun personalities. I spent the night at my daughters the smell was so horrific. I came home this morning and the traps is closed. I called the guys and they will be out this afternoon. I recommend this company and give them a A plus. If for nothing else the way they handled themselves.
